"The atmosphere was fantastic, and the service was excellent, with plenty of great vegan options available. For those with dietary restrictions, the vegan offerings were exceptional. We dined in for lunch and I’d rate the food a 5, the service a 5, and the atmosphere also a 5. I highly recommend this place for vegetarians, as they have a large selection of vegetarian dishes, all clearly labeled."

"this is on the list of places that are booked for years to eat, online for warrington, my mistake last year. This time I got it right and it was worth waiting. the place itself has a great look at it and the personal very pleasant and efficient. the food was also great and we enjoyed it very much! we are coming back without a doubt. back several times. still great eating and personal."

"Surprise waiting inside as exterior unique with a small car park, once entering greeted by a very pleasant waitress really friendly and professional, two others waiting on, and serving drinks extremely attentive, excellent food and very child friendly good menu not excessive but just right, Nice wines and selection of spirits not a large selection of beers but decent quality food was very nicely presented and again good quality and cooked perfect we all had a variety of dishes not kept waiting at all very attentive staff excellent place to dine out usual prices which is fine when there's a decent chef and good quality food Vegetarian options: Good quality vegan meals, alsi asked us about food allergies which is good to see Dietary restrictions: As I've mentioned staff make sure dietary requirements are met more than adequate Kid-friendliness: Nine year old girl loved the menu and food ate more than me Wheelchair accessibility: Out the car into the door can't say much better than that"

"We ordered Fish Friday and Cheese Pie. We were surprised on the reduction of portion sizes of the peas, beans, chips and the fish. The fish was a pre-formed shape and dry and most certainly unlike a fresh fish you get from the local nearby award winning Chip Shop, the peas/beans portion sizes were no bigger than a dessert spoon size and the cheese pie although just warm was no where near as hot/oozy as it used to be, we then counted the chips on our plates, one meal had 12 chips and the other 15 chips. The Fish Friday Deal used to see this pub heavily utilised by customers with never an empty seat, but it is now noticeable a much reduced ordered meal with lots of empty seats. On speaking with local residents who regularly frequented the pub for meals throughout the week and Friday they make the same comments regarding the reduced portion sizes, warmth of food and inform they now frequent the nearby Chip Shop for their Friday Fish Meal, this pub used to be a community pub you would walk away from feeling you had had a good value meal. It is a shame to see the pub going in this direction with regular customers sourcing alternative venues. There appears to be less staff on duty and the ones that are on duty are rushing around. Some thought, work and effort needs to be put in by Management to rebuild this pub to retrieve it's declining popularity before it is too late and it once again reverts back to a drinking only establishment. "Writing on behalf of relative who arranged a wake on 27th March. When we arrived the doors were closed and we had to sit in our cars because it was cold and raining. When we entered the pub it was freezing and the food was not ready. We had to wait for the coffee machine to warm up. After about an hour the food was brought out. Sadly some of the party had to leave by then. The food consisted of pies containing little or no meat and were cut in half. The tiniest of sausage rolls a few chips, two small jugs of gravy which they served you. Bowl of pasta and coleslaw. A tray of sandwiches. Small quiche cut in to quarties. Mini pork pies cut in half. 3 tray bakes. This was charged at £14 per head. Despite asking for the heating on it stayed colder inside than outside. No tea or coffee provided with meal. The family feel the owners should visit a proper wake and take note of how it should be done. Signed: Fred Lever."
