We had a family get together here. Food, drinks, service and atmosphere were all excellent! I will certainly come again.

4 of us went on a Friday evening and amazing food wonderful service, would highly recommend. Well done Siobhan and Richard amazing host.

This restaurant is lovely, with fabulous food and a very welcoming atmosphere. It's also good value for money. Located just a 10-minute walk from the canal, I highly recommend it if you are mooring in Atherstone.

The food at this restaurant is excellent and the staff is very helpful. There is parking available, but it is limited. The bedroom was small but clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The only drawback I found was that it took approximately 10 minutes for the water in the shower to become hot, which is not very sustainable.

Spent a week here for a business trip in January 2023. It was an excellent choice. The food was tremendous, they were able to mix it up for breakfast everyday to my culinary pleasure. Extremely hospitable, even allowing me to leave extra luggage I’ll need for my next trip. The building is quite old, I loved the charm and the location right on the market square and only steps away from downtown. Plenty of additional eateries if desired. Also, groceries and pubs nearby. Can’t make a high enough recommendation.

This restaurant is a true hidden gem! I stayed in a dog-friendly room where the bed was covered with a flannel sheet on top of the bedspread, recognizing that it's hard to keep dogs off furniture. Everything was incredibly clean and they provided a generous amount of soaps, shampoos, a sleep kit, and a wide selection of drinks. I had a great night's sleep on the comfortable bed, it was very peaceful. Breakfast in the morning was fantastic, and they even had a sausage for my dog. I highly recommend booking a stay here - you'll receive a very warm welcome for sure.

Stayed two nights at the Chapel House restaurant with rooms in June as we were attending a wedding nearby. POSITIVES The pre ordered breakfast was excellent and is served when you wish. The bedroom was clean. It was in a good location for our wedding. NEGATIVES There is a fine line between traditional furniture and tired. It felt tired and the beds were not too comfortable. The bathroom was clean but yet again in need of refurbishment. In my opinion the photos on the website are deceiving and for what we paid it did not live up to expectations and would not return.

Stayed here whilst attending a friends wedding reception. Communication with venue was excellent with handy tips about parking and booking taxis before arrival. Greeted by friendly owners who were very helpful and informative. Rooms were in keeping with the building. There was a great selection of toiletries and extras including sewing kits, cotton wool balls, ear buds and sleeping masks. Lovely range of quality complimentary drinks with cows and oak milk provided. Breakfast was preordered from an extensive list which meant it was served efficiently and hot! The owners couldn’t do enough for us and were chatty and lovely. Thank you .

Evening meal for two .....We visited Chapel House using a Gift Voucher given to us by our children for our wedding anniversary. Finding were.... Excellent a la carte menu with an alternate choice of Xmas menu. We were greeted at the door with a warm and friendly welcome, the dining room decor was lovely and fitting for the period of the building with a lovely warm and comfortable atmosphere. The service was excellent with a complimentary visit from the chef mid meal for a satisfaction report. Food rating: we would give as excellent 5* with 100% customer satisfaction.
