"Not much choice on the menu. Overpriced (ridiculously who offers a kids sandwich meal with 1 slice of bread with a bit of ham cut in 2 with a tiny bit of fruit on the side for £5? (And that’s without a drink! I understand you support local businesses, buying in produce etc but come on, a full sandwich with 2 slices of bread wouldn’t break the bank!! Cakes are £5 a slice and a BLT sandwich is £9 "

We had a fantastic lunch at The Chapel Cafe today. We weee given a lovely welcome and the service was excellent. The catch of the day (Haddock) was extremely tasty with a homemade Tartare Sauce.

We visited today and were very disappointed with the kids sandwich meal which were very small and had no drink included. Also charging £5 per piece of cake is daylight robbery. Would not revisit…

Lovely cafe and setting however customer service was terrible and didnt end up having any food as they refused to turn a sandwich into a toastie, they were incapable of putting the order through to the kitchen and forgot the bring us cakes and scones.

If your looking for the best scones in the world, look no further. Made by the kindest sweetest lady called Emily, super kind to speak to and so lovely to the customers. Please don't forget to put money in the tip box, these people work so hard and the cafe was really busy.

Have been coming to Port Isaac for several years and always popped into the Chapel cafe. We were surprised to find out they have changed owners but were thrilled with the new menu, my partner is vegetarian and thoroughly enjoyed the Buddah bowl. Atmosphere is wonderful and the staff were fun and polite (even in the face of incredibly rude people).

"So let us share our experience, We went in tonight as a family after seeing that it home made food on the drive to sennen and looked online and had a good look at the food available on the menu also looking to see if it was dog friendly and it ticked all the boxes, Upon arrival me and my wife went in 1st to ask if we could have a table for food and if dogs can go inside and staff were a little unsure but they confirmed we could upon asking for a table for 7 but one in a pram he said we don’t have the availability to cater I was looking at a table big enough and eventually said that this table was available whilst being seated we had 2 table one clean and the 2nd just been finished with so needed a clean but he came and cleaned both tables and he squirted the cleaner on a clean table and the over spray bounced off the table and went over our selfs then we were handed a menu freshly printed A4 paper thrown on the table (WET TABLE) so they stuck to the table upon agreeing what we wanted we went to the bar within 2-3 mins of being seated we knew what we wanted and when we asked for the meal it was OUT OF STOCK (Sunday lunch) ok fair so as I was with a family member at the bar I quickly rushed back to the table to ask my daughter of an alternative she wasn’t happy, So I made a meal up of all the extras on the menu so I went back to the bar to find my family member ordered 2 fish and chips then I realised my wife also wanted Sunday lunch so I quickly rushed back to ask her what she wanted and went back to the bar just as my family member left and asked for fish and chips was also sold out also! 99% of the menu was SOLD OUT this should of been discussed upon arrival not as we were ordering I run and operate my own business and this isn’t how I would treat my customers this isn’t how an establishment should be ran! Even when I was standing trying to order a member of staff was standing there arm against the wall doing nothing while customers are standing waiting to be served! So we decided not to eat and my family member went back to the bar to ask for a refund as we couldn’t eat as a family and the staff were iffy about offering a refund but 10 minutes later they did refund my family member as it became a scene for other people as they could see what had happened! This establishment should be call the 1st and late time you come here! We ended up walking to the chip shop down the road for food we are very disappointed in this company and establishment! For anyone who wants to eat please make sure they HAVE STOCK how can this establishment run without stock? Never again tonight they lost over £200 revenue due to this situation!"
