"My wife an I didn’t know what to expect when we made our reservation for Restaurante Channel. It’s off the beaten path but the website photos sold us on giving it a try. The ambience is in deed charming. Every aspect of our dining experience was first rate. Our server was very attentive and tried his best to interpret our English. He was assisted by the owner who was quite gracious and funny. Every aspect of the food was amazing from presentation to flavor. We left the restaurant delighted by the experience however, half way back to our hotel I was in a panic that I had left my travel wallet, with passport and credit cards in the restaurant. When I got back to the restaurant the entire staff dropped everything to help in the search. After turning the restaurant upside down I finally found my wallet in my car. What a relief! We will long remember our dining experience but just as importantly the kindness and concern of our new friends at Restaurante Channel."

Well received, good tapas, sangria too, the meal quite fast, even after a season not yet finished for them the servers are very courteous. On the other hand, you have to master the language Spanish. Good meal.

We tried to get a reservation at this restaurant three times but we were denied even though there were tables available. However we saw other people getting served. Didn’t think much of it in the beginning but we managed to book it after multiple attempts When we arrived the waiting staff were all sitting on the table and no one approached us to take us to our table. We waiting almost 5 mins (bearing in mind the restaurant was empty). Almost all the tables were empty but somehow we were given a wobbly table. We sat down and we’re ready to order but no staff approached us but we’re happily taking orders for customers who arrived later than us. Also the staff were looking at us strangely, maki...

"We had a meal consisting of the set menu, consisting of appetizers, main dishes and desserts. It was all wonderful. The restaurant served us a small appetizer with olives. We ordered as appetizers fried calamari, and croquetas of chicken and of cheese. Spanish croquetas have a thin crunchy breaded coat over a pasty filling. Both types were savory, and the cheese croquetas were filled with a kind of blue cheese, which kept its distinctive flavor but was not overpowering. Two groups of two diners shared two of the signature dishes at the restaurant: seafood paella, and seafood fideua. Fideua is a dish prepared much like paella, except using inch-long pieces of broken fideos, a fine noodle commonly used is Spain for soups, instead of rice. Both were excellent. I had the chicken, also very good. For desserts, we had chocolate soufflé with raspberry sauce which was not too sweet, just a little tart; sorbet de maracuya (passionfruit) which was also tart, but delicious in taste with a great consistency; mango ice cream, sweet and very creamy with a delicious flavor; requesón (a kind of creamy Spanish cheese) with layers of honey; and crema catalana, which is sort of like a Catalan version of flan with a surface of caramelized sugar, also delicious. All the desserts are house-made. The server was very polite, attentive and engaged, offering suggestions and demurrers as he felt necessary. The woman who served as the maitre d' was also very engaging, and described what were possibly her creations — the restaurant is small, and there were only the two of them in the dining room — lovingly, and made suggestions based on preference expressed. She may have been the owner; I didn't ask. I whole-heartedly recommend it for great food. It cost us €170 for 5 fixed-price dinners, a couple of glasses of wine, some soft drinks, a couple of bottles of water."
