"tried at lunch with the family on a wet Sunday of November. compared to my first review a few years ago I noticed a decided shot ahead of the kitchen. in addition to the usual attention to the quality of the raw materials of the territory, dishes are proposed that allow the chef to show his/her skills: delicate white and black dumplings with squid on cream of chickpeas as well as braised tortelli. staff always celery and kind (easy to understand some negative reviews) service times in the norms. excellent cellar, correct embroidery, competence and availability of the tavern to recommend. ovada is difficult to eat better. in the last place: appreciable the use of the glasses riedel sin for paper towels. the environment is informal but the proposed kitchen and the cellar are aimed at a segment of customers that I believe would appreciate the tablecloth. Good, keep it up."

It's the first time I didn't know the place. I found myself really well, I ate Piedmontese, my wife chose fish. really a nice choice, we will come back

Excellent dinner, perfect wine pairing (by the glass). Very nice and attentive staff. Sommelier with great expertise, especially Piedmontese wines. We are passing through, but the restaurant is worth a dedicated trip.

The owner is very friendly and knowledgeable about wines. If you're a wine lover, you're going to enjoy it. The wine cellar under the restaurant is worth visiting. Ask him and he'll be delighted to make you a small tour.

Giuseppe and his restaurant are an institution. Not only in Ovada but in the north of Italy overall. Exceptional hospitality, attention to the clients and to the details like the glasses and the cleanliness of them!
