Causeway Royal Fish

Called in last week and had a skinless cod and chips. Fresh and hot, chips also v.good. Staff friendly. I’d definitely recommend.

Can’t be this local fish and chip shop, food is amazing service is amazing great staff . Who remember our order even if we don’t go for a while. Definitely recommend.

I stumbled upon this restaurant by chance on December 28th and was pleasantly surprised. The staff were friendly and the portion of fish and chips was generous and delicious.

I have never had a bad meal from this place. The food is always fresh, hot and absolutely delicious! We placed our order over the phone before picking it up, and it was ready 15 minutes later.

GREAT people and great food! Definitely value for money when feeding a hungry family, we stopped eating at friar tucks when they introduced trays for the chips as the amount did not feed us! DEFO recommend! And the sales service great! Always helps me spend a little more! Lol!

Bigest portions I have ever been given, I wanted one large Haddock I got two what they call standard Haddocks freshley cooked for the same price as they said their large wasn't as big as it should be. The regular ones I got still hung over the large dinner plate both ends. Fantastic plaice. ;

Wow was on a recovery job bank holiday Monday trying to find food that was open , came across this on trip advisor, COVID compliant firstly, friendly staff, fantastic service, the food was exceptional, the value and portions are incredible, piping hot freshly cooked tasty fish and chips definitely worth a visit

We have been frequenting this restaurant since shortly after it first opened. Once you try the fish and chips from here, you won't want to go back to any of its nearby competitors. The food is always hot and fresh, and the service is consistently friendly. They strictly adhere to all COVID measures, and the prices are always excellent value for money.

Ordered small battered sausage and child portion of chips, plus piece of cod but no chips. No mention that they don't do child portion of chips. When I got home I discovered huge cod with requested battered sausage and then a massive portion of chips enough left over to feed at lease 10 kids really annoyed so I rang them up and he said he told me only two size chips £2 and £3.50. Nothing said at the counter, so really not happy with them. Apart from trying to cover up, there was a massive amount of waste. Also the fish was way too big and not very tasty either.
