On arrival greeted by a friendly, helpful lady which helped carry our bags to the room. Advised they had taken over the hotel in November.

The food at this restaurant is delicious and the surroundings are elegant. The Asia crab salad and peanut granola were both delicious. The staff is superbly attentive. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

23 of us had afternoon tea with no complaints. The venue, food and atmosphere was fab and the staff were great. The selection of sandwiches suited all and the cakes were amazing. Looking forward to go back to try Sunday lunch. Voir le carte

Attended Cathedral 73 for a second time for afternoon tea along with 8 friends and everything was just perfect. The staff (Simon) couldn't do enough for us and the food especially the sandwiches were superb. I am looking forward to visiting again!!

We were staying here for a few days so had breakfast on 2 occasions. Enjoyed a 3 egg omelette with cheese and ham. The omelettes were well filled, and had plenty of Tea, juice and toast to go down with. There were options to add additional bacon, sausages and other items too.

3 of us had afternoon tea last weekend. I would have scored it 3.5/5 if half points was an option. The service was good and venue was pleasant. Sandwiches were exceptional; neatly cut into uniform fingers with tasty fillings and no dry edges in sight! They were clearly freshly cut. The cucumber and mint filling was especially nice as the combination of flavours worked well and was more sophisticated than the run of the mill sandwich fillings which are normally served in an afternoon tea. I highly recommend Cathedral 73 for a dining experience like no other. The restaurant has a stunning decor that is both elegant and welcoming. Despite its appearance, the atmosphere is relaxing and the staff are incredibly attentive. The food is simply amazing, with flavors that are out of this world. We tried a variety of items from the grazing menu and each dish exceeded our expectations. It was truly the best meal we have had so far. I recommend giving Cathedral 73 a try, as you will not be disappointed. 10/10. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience.

Really disappointing visit today for a Mother’s Day afternoon tea. The quality of the food is just really poor uninspiring and I’d have made better at home! The sandwiches were very average, then the Victoria sponge cakes were really stale, macaroons were horrible and the scones which we held out some hope for were just ridiculous! Very flat and dry. We left most of all the food so when the waitress asked if everything had been ok, I did give say we were really surprised and sorry to say we just felt it was really poor. She was polite but defensive about all the cakes so i said fine I guess we can just put it down to personal preference. The bill was not reduced I really felt they should hav...

On arrival we were told only the bar menu was available as there’d been a “mix-up” in the kitchen. I ordered the vegetable pizza, which should have included spinach, mushrooms and olives. None of these were on my pizza. All I had was a base similar to a burnt crisp, with a few slices of onion and red pepper, and which was absolutely tasteless. I complained to the waiter (who was very apologetic) and was offered a new pizza. The first one had taken ages to be made, so I declined. I had also ordered a side salad, but this was not provided.
