Definitely 5/5, upon arrival staff friendly and made us feel at home. Good range of food and drinks, vegetarian options were very tasty. Cocktails are proper cocktails and dangerous as just want way to many. Overall very very happy and staff helpful with excellent service. Bonus taxi rank just across the road

This place is on the long list of Brighton and Hove eateries I want to visit. Came here weekday lunch time and ordered the steak tacos. Average portion (3 tacos although I understand the others tacos are two pieces but bigger. The tacos were good. The rolled up smoked/grilled cheese was exquisite. The place is cool and edgy.

The Carlito Burrito website proudly states We always have allocated tables exclusively for walk-ins. Allowing the magic of spontaneity! If we are unable to sit you at the moment you are welcome to have a drink outside on our terrace while you wait for a table. This was not the case when I walked in at 18.15 on Saturday. I was told they were fully booked all evening and couldn 't accommodate walk-ins. Voir le carte

THE best Mexican meal I have ever had! Owned and ran by a Mexican family it’s simply wonderful food. So tasty the flavours beautifully crafted in subtle layers. Outstanding presentation and attention to detail. We shared Nacho Nacho Man to start, followed by Pulled Pork Taco and Succulent Beef Taco with a Halloumi side, rounded off by yummy Churros with chocolate dipping sauce. We thoroughly enjoyed the home made lemonade and would highly recommend EVERYTHING we ate. Our first visit, but it will not be the last.

We struggled to find a dog friendly Mexican restaurant in Brighton. After 2 failed attempts, we went to Carlito Burrito. We were really lucky to get a table as it was very busy and many after us, did not. But I’m so glad we did. Everything was unbelievable. The service was great. I think their names were Chloe and Stephanie but they were amazing and so helpful with our dog. The food was also great but the real standout from the day was the cocktails. The margaritas were probably the best I’ve had in quite a long time.

I booked in advance to get a good table and still think that this is the best Mexican food in Brighton but the service was SO bad this time. We won’t be going back. We arrived and our table wasn’t ready we had to ask to sit somewhere else to wait and the staff member was clearly unhappy with that We ordered drinks and food and even though our table had cleared were told to stay put squashed uncomfortably on a four person table with a buggy rammed in beside us. I’d understand if we were walk ins. The staff member -I think the owner- was very stressed and busy but made no effort to apologise or acknowledge his gruffness. We all felt uncomfortable with his attitude and it ruined the dining expe... Voir le carte
