"The reviews read online on how to eat vegan in Udine did not leave much hope. Caffè Tomaso was therefore not only a very welcome surprise, but, in my humble opinion, simply the TOP among the experiences I had the opportunity to try around Italy. The fact that it was an omnivorous restaurant in the past and that it has aimed to reconvert represents a courageous decision that deserves, in any case, applause. But I am sure that even non-vegan customers will appreciate the excellent dishes at the Caffé. As a first course I focused on blecs, a revisited Friulian dish: spectacular, preceded by a very welcome gift from the chef, based on a delicious bulghur. For dessert I took the pumpkin foam... delicious to say the least. The choice of wines by the glass is excellent to say the least. Very characteristic environment, background music, pleasant without being invasive. And then the spectacular staff, I hope I don't get the names wrong: Tomás at the service and Sabina and Irina in the kitchen. I hope to return as soon as possible. PS Very fair price, given the excellent quality. Vegetarian options: Everything strictly vegan"

Of this place you can't help but publish positive reviews for the well-kept environment, the courteous owner to say the least and the dishes splendidly prepared with quality raw materials and obviously proportionate costs. The only flaw in my opinion is the portions are a little too small.

Pros: Excellent food. You can choose to eat vegetarian, meat, fish, first courses and desserts. Also depending on the menus offered. We also really enjoyed the wines. Kindness, etiquette and courtesy of the staff who served us: top. Environment: creative, original and comfortable. Very colorful and really pleasant to spend an evening with friends. The only flaw, perhaps, is not very noticeable from the outside, the red sign is visible but in my opinion it should be better contextualized. We will be back
