Cafe Venetian - Menu

I just had lunch at this restaurant. The food was okay, but they don't have a restroom. A lady came in with her child needing to use the restroom, but they were unable to because there wasn't one available. I'm pretty sure this violates the law. The food was good and service was quick though.

This is the third time I have visited this little cafe and I’ve only ever had the breakfast so can only comment on that, each time I have had it it’s been absolutely gorgeous and by far the best around!!The staff are lovely and helpful, if at times a little busy. Will definitely keep coming here

We recently discovered this place as our favorite spot for breakfast and coffee. The service was prompt and the food was served hot. The staff were all friendly and attentive. The menu had a good variety and there were some delicious cakes on display. The prices for the food and drinks were very reasonable.

A lovely young lady served me and my mother. We ordered fish n chips and a pizza. I didn’t wait too long for my food and my coffees had beautiful patterns on the top. My table was wiped straight away and one of the boys offered to bring me my cutlery.we will definitely be returning and it was a great value for money.

I came in after shopping with my little girl. What a joy to be greeted by a friendly face, lovely staff, lovely food and the environment was nice a peaceful. Have recommended this place to my family and freinds *lots of seating *great choice of food and drinks *staff recommendations on what to choose *AMAZING VALUE for money I loved my mozzarella tomato and pesto panini With salad and crisps They have a kids menu which is lovely, my daughter had fish finger beans and chips with An apple juice. She enjoyed her food and there was plenty on her plate. Love This Cafe

The experience at this restaurant was terrible. The server rushed us as soon as we walked in, wearing his outdoor coat, which was unhygienic. The tea was served in dirty, mismatched, small coffee cups instead of tea cups. The carrot cake was tasteless and cold, as if it had been thawed. The toasted tea cakes were also cold. The restaurant appeared dirty and in need of a thorough cleaning, as well as some investment in matching chinaware. The staff seemed young and inexperienced, lacking proper guidance. I will not be returning and do not recommend this place to others due to its lack of cleanliness.

*Written on behalf of my mother* Went in this morning for coffee and a tea cake (plus a quiet 5 minutes to myself . Coffee came promptly, however, the tea cake followed between 15 and 20 minutes later. It was stone cold. This was because the three members of staff were too busy arguing, debating who was talking about who, behind each other 's back and loudly swearing every other word. There was a family in, with two young children, having to listen to the bad language being used by members of staff. Went here today with two friends and a baby, after doing our Christmas shopping,,the service was the worst I have ever come across,,lady at till didnt know what she was doing,couldnt put ham egg and chips into the till, called someone else over and walked off leaving us just stood there, eventually it was all sorted including the owner butting in and then storming off, we only wanted ham,egg and chips x3 and a childs pizza and chips. The meals arrived only to see it was the cheapest of cheapy ham, 99p square ham of which we had 2 slices, we complained saying it was not worth the amount they were charging £6.50. I reside in Barry however decided to take a trip shopping with my family to Cwmbran shopping center. We decided around 2 o'clock we were all feeling thirsty and slightly peckish. We decided upon Cafe Venetian with its big Venice style windows surrounding the cafe perfect for people watching. Upon entry we were greeted by the manager who was very kind to us, asking how our day was and proceeding with general chit chat.
