It's a tourist place in a tourist town so you dont arrive with too high expaectations, but surprisingly the service was more than friendly and the food was good German with huge portions. Maybe because the of us ordered do many things ot for...any unknown reason we had great service great food and a great time.

Being in such a popular location and with the view of the lake (as the name suggests), it was quite busy at lunchtime. We did manage to find a table though without waiting and the table service was very prompt both for ordering and receiving....We both decided to have cake, a Schwarzwaelder Kirschtorte and an Apfelstrudel and they were both very nice.

this is a very mediocre caffe that is strictly aimed at tourists and fools like me who choose it in despair for a rest stop while managing drongs of people in titisee. the service is slow and indifferent. the waiting staff only comes alive when they. we had black forests cirschtorte and coffee (see photo). the cake was long on whipped cream and short on crunch. also quite expensive. I'm not sure there are better caffes in titisee, but I'd look for one next time. Voir le carte

Our family stopped here for a little mid-day snack. We ordered a variety of items, mainly desserts. Everyone liked their food. In particular the apfelstrudel and haselnusstorte were delicious. We enjoyed sitting outside so we could get a little view of the lake. The restaurant...was very crowded which made it hard to move around. The servers even struggled to bring our food through the crowd. The service was good although a little slow likely due to the number of people waiting for their orders.

We ordered schnitzel (usually the dish which is the same everywhere) and some spaetzle. The latter was okish, the schnitzel extremely salty and smaller than you'd expect. When we complained at the end of the meal (should have done so at the beginning the waitress...acted all empathetic, but no offer was made to compensate in any way. The couple sitting at the next table hadn't enjoyed their meal either. I think the restaurant can only exist because there are lots of tourists who visit once, so quality really doesn't matter. I felt extremely frustrated I'd supported this restaurant with my money, I would have preferred to have given it to a worthier place.

The rudest service I think I have ever experienced in a restaurant.
