"I live up north, but first visited Cafe Monde when they had one in Salisbury too, some years ago, then discovered them also in Winchester. A busy spot, but they 'll try to fit you in without rushing people from their tables. Good traditional cafe with a modern outlook, staff go in on their day off, manager is easygoing but makes sure things are right, comfortable and relaxed. Friends, Lovers, Ex 's, Business Associates all ask 'What was that Cafe in Winchester, I 'm down there in a week or two..."

We didn't make a reservation, but we were fortunate to snag a table inside this bustling town center cafe. The menu offered a variety of options, including breakfast, and the service was top-notch. Definitely worth a visit.

I had an amazing breakfast at this restaurant, especially enjoyed the breakfast omelette. They have great options for gluten-free and are willing to swap out items. The service was friendly and I would definitely go back again.

Stopped midafternoon for a late lunch sandwich and cup of tea. The sandwich/wrap were both very good, the service was very friendly and efficient and I have to say the prices were very reasonable compared to the place next door! Voir le carte

Only please we could find that did a fry up! Was really lovely and the portion (all day breakfast) was really big. Lots of stairs so not really any good for mobility issues unless you can get a seat outside. Would definitely visit again.

This popular cafe serves an excellent cooked breakfast. We visited before heading to the Christmas market and were welcomed by friendly staff. Be cautious if you're not very hungry, as the large breakfast will definitely fill you up. Definitely worth a visit.
