"After a long day of walking I had the daily special which was a vegan empanada, something I haven’t yet seen in Spain. It was good enough for me to order another one once I finished. As we were eating, a dog was walking in and out of the restaurant with an enormous tumor on his flank. I assumed it was a street dog and called an association that helps animals on the Camino, and they told me to call the emergency services. Before I did that, I asked the owner if she knew anything about the dog and she was very defensive, telling me that it was her dog and asking why I cared. She claimed the dog has seen the vet 5 times and whether or not that’s true, it was shocking to see such a massive tumor on this dog and it was clearly affecting his ability to walk. Maybe she gets asked this a lot and she’s tired to explaining it, but I was surprised at her reaction since I was asking out of genuine concern."

We did not stay to eat, we saw the letter and did not convince us because among the vegetarian options there were dishes with shrimp etc.

had no vegan breakfast option, they came with something when I asked, although (fruit and yogurt.) I wanted to come to lunch in fisterra, but not confident that I could get a complete meal.

the cosmopolitan environment that paradoxically lives in a population as fine is appreciable on the border. if you add a simple, healthy and well-made concina, we have an installation like the border whose visit is recommended.

Very rich breakfast, vegan and vegetarian options. bar type chill, very nice with the Spanish waitress. When his shift was over and the German couple (I guess the owners) entered, he changed the environment and the good roll, which was a pity.

going to the border is like being home. We came several times and gave us the feeling of being one more community. the food that offers, healthy, original and well cooked. Of course, nothing to do with a marisqueria like the many who are in fisterra.
