"We visited this restaurant on a Bank Holiday Monday for lunch. We both ordered the Sirloin steak with pepper sauce. The staff were excellent, very friendly and attentive. The meals were outstanding - the 8 oz steaks were cooked perfectly, and the side of chips, peas, and mushrooms were served hot and fresh. We also enjoyed two glasses of wine with our meal, and found the prices to be very reasonable. We will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you to the staff for providing a great dining experience."

"We booked this place for a family birthday Sunday lunch after looking at their website. We booked over the phone for 11 of us and travelled the 16 miles from Swansea. When the waitress handed us the menus we were shocked to see that the prices had jumped from the website prices of 12.95 to £17.95 per adult and from £7.95 to 9.95 per child. £5 increase for adults and £2 for children. When we asked the manager she said that the website prices were old old prices. We told her that we weren 't told this when we phoned to make the booking, her reply was 'we don 't tell people '. After explaining how far we had travelled and that we couldn 't afford those prices she said she would take £2 off each adult. We simply couldn 't afford to pay what they were asking and left. Very disappointed by their false advertising, be aware before you book this place."

Lovely friendly people, good nostalgic range of food and drinks and I have to say, although some places vary, it’s remained consistently the best fish chips I’ve ever had consistently. "We had a lovely carvery here today (Sunday) more than I could eat. I had beef and turkey and as much vegetables as I could get on the very large plate I took a few slices home with me it was delicious and extra gravy was brought to our table. We have already booked for next Sunday. My husband has difficulty walking ,and with not many packing places the lady that served us food offered to move her car so he could come up closer to the door so very thoughtful of her. Staff could not do enough for you. Highly recommended. Les and veronica"
