"Love a curry and always our first choice for a takeaway. Started using Cafe Balti regularly a few months ago and had no complaints. In fact, have been recommending. Last night, we ordered and was told it would take 40 to 45 mins, which is standard. However, after an hour and twenty mins, there was still no sign of it, so called them. Was left hanging on the line. Called again and was told it would be with us in 5 to 10 mins, which it was. Unforthnately, the naan bread and the onion bhajis (2 per serving on this occasion) were stone cold. I called them and all they could offer was an apology blaming the fact they were busy, but if we ordered again, we could get the naan and bhajis free! With so much competition in the area, I would have expected more and definitely will not be using them again."

I just want to say that out of 8 people who visited, 2 got sick with food poisoning. I would recommend avoiding this restaurant at all costs. The setup and food quality were very poor.

Had a lovely evening with my daughter her partner and hubby at Cafe Balti, we shared a lovely starter, and had lots of dishes which made up an Indian tapas for the four of us, staff very good, and a great atmosphere Voir le carte

The food was terrible, with recooked dishes that were not fresh. The bread was stale, the curry was poor quality, and the onion bhaji seemed to have been sitting out for hours before being reheated upon our order. Overall, a disappointing dining experience.

Pleased to see reopening when lock down eased. We waited a couple of weeks and booked. There are reduced numbers of tables and social distancing was obvious. Hand sanitiser was available. Food was excellent we began with a mixed kebab and onion Bhaji followed by lamb naga and brinjal. Service was excellent and we felt safe visiting.

We attended cafe balti. We have been to this restaurant many times. Unfortunately although the food was ok the device was lack luster bordering on rude. We felt unwelcome. Some food came almost after we had finished and although we had paid for the meal deal coffee was not even offered. We weren't late, 7:30 but felt that the waiter wanted us gone. It's really sad because we chose this restaurant and made a conscious effort to get there. We don't want gushing just to feel welcome Voir le carte

Tonight me and the better half went and had an absolutely amazing meal at balti house. I had the piri piri prawn starter (I cant remember the proper name) and the mrs had meat samosas which were both amazing! Then for the main I had a chicken rogan and the mrs had a lamb korma. Once again Amazing! The rice of choice was lemon rice (first time)nd pilau rice which were both really good! Along with the atmosphere and prices there it is safe to say that it will now be our go to place for an indian! I highly recommend this for a great meal at a good price with a Brill service!

I recently received a takeout menu from a restaurant called Spice Club, formerly known as Cafe Balti before the previous owner retired. The menu featured unique dishes that caught my attention. Despite not being a fan of onion bhajis, I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious and different they were at Spice Club. I enjoy trying new things, so I was happy to discover that the rest of the dishes I tried were also very tasty. I appreciated that they do not use artificial coloring or flavoring. If you're looking to explore new curry dishes, I recommend giving Spice Club a try. While they still offer classic favorites, I'm looking forward to trying more of their unique offerings on my next vis...
