One of the best restaurants to take a getaway from Madrid Or if you want to go skiing in La Pinilla. The cachopo, whatever it is, is incredible, the prawns and artichokes are terrific. The restaurant is very tastefully decorated. We booked in the garden. A spacious place with a pleasant temperature. It has an equestrian center and you can go horseback riding or just watch the horses. They treated us very kindly. The food had an innovative touch and good quantity. We went with 3 children and we all ordered ham croquettes, hamburger, scrambled eggs with truffle, burrata salad and 1 kg ribeye. All of very good quality and delicious. Totally negative experience. What could have been a pleasant family meal was spoiled by the attitude of a man (supposedly boss, person in charge or manager). On three occasions we had to ask (politely and correctly) the waitresses to remove the dogs because they were bothering the table (urinating two meters away, sucking on a baby carriage, a dog trying to mount a female dog, etc). This gentleman, instead of coming to the table to apologize and ask about the problem, addressed us in a rude manner, defending his waitresses and calling us rude. To take into account: a place where it is considered impolite to ask the waitress repeatedly and politely to please take one of the BIG dogs from the table that bothered, by sucking and approaching a newborn several times born. For future visitors, also keep in mind that the owner, without being present in the conversation, will directly accuse you of being rude. Too bad you don 't demand the same from your service, who has been the only one who has disrespected us with bad answers. In fact, as the owner usually says, La Vereda is not our place.
