Booked here for a birthday meal. The manager was very friendly and accommodating. A quaint room with superb views across the river which really makes this a fantastic location for a restaurant....(don’t let the entrance put you off).

After trying the restaurant located downstairs, we spoke to a young lady who explained that their pop-up restaurant was offering a more casual menu of pizza and pasta. We decided to give it a try the next night and were impressed by the friendly service and delicious food. Voir le carte

Lovely spot over looking the river, get a window spot if you can. Smallish menu with an Italian slant, all freshly cooked and well priced. House wine particularly good and very reasonable. Friendly staff and great atmosphere. Recommended. This is a pop up so may not be around for too long!

Do not let the entrance with staircase next to the sailing club premises put you off. Once upstairs you are met by a very friendly couple who are keen to ensure you have a pleasant visit. The room is well laid out and makes the most of the stunning view across Dartmouth harbour to Kingswear. Tables are well spaced.

I visited this temporary restaurant a few weeks ago after seeing it advertised locally. The food was absolutely amazing, especially the pizza which was one of the best I've ever had. If you're in the area, I highly recommend checking it out before it's gone. I hope it was successful and becomes a permanent Italian restaurant because it's something our town really needs. The restaurant is above the Yacht Club on the Quay in Dartmouth. It’s essential to book one of the two window tables overlooking the river as the room itself is soulless and canteen like. The lighting needs a rethink. However the welcome was charming and friendly and the food was excellent. We chose the scallops and the crayfish and prawn cocktail then the turbot in a shrimp and seafood sauce on crushed potatoes and fennel which was perfection. Will definitely return!

During our week-long holiday in Dartmouth, we decided to try out Bushell's Upper Deck after reading some great reviews. It was a pop-up restaurant and we happened to visit on its last night of the summer season. Despite the limited menu, we were warmly welcomed and had a fantastic meal. We started with squid and garlic flatbread, followed by seafood risotto and American pizza, and finished with tiramisu and ice cream. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, the staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the views were incredible. We definitely lucked out with this choice! Whilst I think that Bushells riverside restaurant has the edge we visited both this new addition was pretty good. Its a bit more of an open layout and fresher feel but still has the superb views across to Kingswear, maybe better than Riverside as its elevated on the first floor. Service was very good and prompt but I was slightly disappointed at the menu which seemed cut down for a sunday night and the carvery option was one of the few choices left to me. Having said that it was very good but I had set myself up for other choices from the on line sample menu. The scallop starter was however top class and it was only the mains choice that brought this down from excellent. Voir le carte
