We were not offered dessert or coffee. The manager then informed us that he needed the table back at 9:30pm as new customers were waiting. It was not communicated to us beforehand that we only had the table for an hour. The manager was unapologetic and blamed us for overstaying the booked slot when we pointed this out. Feeling unwelcome and shocked by the staff's behavior, we decided to leave. This experience completely ruined our evening. Despite being loyal customers for around 20 years, we will not be returning. It is evident that the restaurant has lost its way in terms of service and food quality. My recommendation for the restaurant would be to evaluate the current manager and the negative culture he is fostering among the staff at what used to be a welcoming and reliable Indian restaurant."

Amazing.flavourful food and super friendly staff the massala was delicious we went on a Monday evening and it was quiet. but the atmosphere was lovely and the staff were very attentive and accommodating.

I am very disappointed as this restaurant used to be the top choice for Indian cuisine. I will not be returning again. The quality has decreased and it was only after we left that we realized everyone else felt the same way.

I had a reservation and arrived on time, but was seated 40 minutes late. The staff blamed the customers for the delay. Both of the toilets were broken and we were allowed to use the men's restroom without flushing, also blamed on the customers. It took an hour for our food to arrive. When we went to pay, we were surprised to see an extra £25 added to the bill. Initially, the staff argued about the charges, but then claimed it was meant for a different table when we questioned it. This was my fourth visit to the restaurant, but I will not be returning.

We have been regulars at the Brunel Raj for many years but will no longer visit again! We visited the restaurant with our friend who is visually impaired with her guide dog on its harness. In a very unpleasant manner she was turned away and told that neither she nor the dog could enter the restaurant by the manager. There was only one table in use at the time and it was not busy at 6.30pm. I have never come across such callous, rude and discriminatory behaviour and we were devastated by how she was made to feel. We will never visit this restaurant again and if you have any form of disability I would recommend you think twice!!

The problem with this restaurant is that there is one particular man head waiter/manager/whatever he'd call himself who seems to rule the place with a rod of iron and a right face on. Service is poor and the welcome cold. There are several people working here but all seem cowed and deferential to this miserable bloke who seems to go out of his way to cultivate the kind of brusque demeanour that makes you think you've stood on his bunion. The other staff see you are waiting for service but look to this manager and then do nothing. Stuff was forgotten and all the while misery guts looked down his nose at us.
