"We never made it after a staff member called me to tell me they were fully booked and that we would have to sit outside and have our dinner after it had been snowing that day! That was 4hrs before we were due to arrive. Not a good first impression for this restaurant I have been wanting to try for so long....shame."

This is a bar. Not really a sit down restaurant, at least when we went there. Thursday at 7:00pm. Server was great! Loud and dancing. Burgers and beer was good.

Food was average at best. The steak was dry and tasteless. Ribs were overcooked. Service was not great. Despite the restaurant being empty, we still had to wait 30 minutes for our order.

We were seated promptly and the service was friendly and attentive, although it took a while to flag down the staff to pay our bill, even though the restaurant was not very busy. It was convenient that Brodies accepts tastecard.

I'm sure this could be a nice place for a drink, but it is not a restaurant. Yes, they have food, but no, they don't have tables. And when you reserve a table on OpenTable, you don't actually get a table, you get kind of an area near the bar. I felt mislead and we left to find an actual restaurant with real seats.
