Food is cold and bland for a start, but then when it came to paying, they had the cheek of short changing us by £20 and refused to take responsibility for their mistake and were very rude when we tried to resolve it with them!...AVOID!

I’ve been getting takeaways from here for 4 years. They had a bit of a wobble during the autumn of last year but I have to say the last few takeaways have been superb. If you’ve not been for a while it’s definitely worth a...try again.

The absolute worst takeaway I have had in years order was incorrect went back to give them the opportunity to correct ended up with an incorrect order again, same as the first that had just been rehashed through a microwave driest worst takeaway...I have ever had. £33.00 in the bin.

Placed an order for delivery, it arrived before time advised and piping hot, it had lots of flavour and was very very tender with fresh chillies, garlic etc. There was so much meat in both our dishes. We couldn’t fault anything. This has to be...the best Indian takeaway we have had to date.

We had a retreat this time but have visited several times. I don't understand the bad reviews, either we're just lucky or people are reviewing the wrong establishment! Excellent food as always and delivered quickly and free of charge. I can't believe our happiness moves... in so close to such a beautiful Indian :

Staying in the area for a drive into Silverstone we found this restaurant on a Sunday early evening. Tucked away in the oddest little spot it was a real throwback to an old Indian restaurant. Staff great and not overly intrusive, lots of choice, everything you would... expect from an Indian restaurant. Food was really good, portions over right. The total cost was £50 with drinks for two. Good value and highly recommended

Do not give cash for takeaways, they deny cash is handed over. Supplied them with 1x£20 and 1x£10. They declined the £10 as there was a small tear and asked me to swap it. As i went out to my husband, who was in the...car to get a replacement, the male walked towards the back of the restaurant returning as i handed over a further £20. He then denied keeping the original £20 stating he handed it back to me along with the £10 which was an absolute lie.

We were staying at hotel close by so decided to give this a try so made a reservation. Clean and spacious inside and staff very friendly and good service. Unfortunately I didn't think my dish was very tasty was okay but as it was...chef's special I presumed it would be amazing but the dish was bland with no obvious taste. My husband enjoyed his but it didn't live up to being a medium dish, it was more like a korma. Would still try again to give it the benefit of the doubt!

Having an Indian Restaurant within walking distance of where you live in a village is a huge bonus but my husband and I have avoided Brinjol's for years, until last Saturday. When it first opened, it was great but then we don't know what happened...but it the service and quality of food went downhill it was awful. Last Saturday evening, returning from a week away we decided to order a takeaway from there with some friends (6 of us eating) and we were so pleased with the service and quality of food.
