Came here for breakfast, fantastic selection of food, busy so would recommend booking a table will definitely return.

The food at this restaurant was amazing. Everything was served hot and the staff were fantastic, especially with my son. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome.

I had dinner here with my husband and we totally loved it. The food was great and the wait time was reasonable. The staff who took our order (Nyssa) was lovely and helped us choose a great dessert. Totally loved my time here!

Another brilliant visit at the castlewood was told minute wait food was with us before that.Hot food..Hot plates a off voucher for next visit from Emma on the bar.. service with a smile from emma even under pressure with a long que. Keep...up the good work you did amazing !!!

I and a friend lived in the hotel next door, when we had worked two weeks at night and had taken so much to us, she did everything she could to make our stay as pleasant as possible. gave us food recommendations, food...to go when we needed food quickly before work, for the loyalty card regulation for discount etc., thank you emma! I came to the restaurant tonight with my partner and kids. We were seated promptly and our food arrived quickly, hot and incredibly delicious. The children's portions were just right, and even my picky eater son managed to finish all his food thanks to the attentive service from Megan. The staff, including Megan, Lewis, Emma, and Blake, made our visit enjoyable with their friendly and efficient service. We will definitely be back soon, thanks to the young staff.

Nice evening meal food was well presented and tasty. Jamie a member of staff was most helpful especially with drinks much appreciated. Breakfast, items such pastries and bananas ran out more than once however were replenished within minutes. Some of the hot...items scrambled egg and tomatoes and fried egg also ran out and it was a wait until they were replenished which meant other items got cold. Food was nice when it did arrive. Busy for breakfast but we think it was half term for some still so this could have been the reason.

This was my visit and each time I've been on a meal deal with the hotel. Can never get a table at a decent time for dinner, always had to wait until circa Then additional wait for food, even a cold starter....I asked for steak to be rare, it came out burnt. The toilets are not maintained, very messy with loo roll all over the floor, and not filled dispensers, including soap. It's disappointing when you've driven a distance and just want to relax for the evening but can't actually settle until after On a positive though, the breakfasts are spot on and the staff are so very friendly and polite.
