Brasserie At Ellenborough Park

What a beautiful place, so full of character. Couldn't fault the food or the service, both were first class.

Varied menu to select from including traditional roasts through to sandwiches. Jay looked after us (as usual) delivering a very high standard of service. Special mention for their cauliflower cheese!

Came recently for my Christmas present that I must use. An indulgent spa package which included a set menu glass of fizz. I chose the fish and a desert. All was very tasty and service impeccable. My spa treatment was lovely and I went home feeling relaxed and indulged !! Voir le carte

I'd give it a zero if I could. A visit with friends for lunch. The food was atrocious. My chicken club sandwich came as a toastie despite it not being advertised as such. As well as being inedible it was also cold. £20 wasted. My friend's meal (a fish one) was also dreadful. £24 wasted.

amazing landscape and decor leads it to the restaurant in ellenborough park, where the decor promises an excellent experience. only to see it sad, to smoke at a very hefty price I could add.Simply put food without soul, over cooked pasta very over cooked meat etc... what a disappointment to realize a place with so much potential that simply does not deliver.

I would give this place staring if I could! the atmosphere is elegant and posh. this is a historical thing that is a real tasty. the service is impeccable as they are treated as vip. the breakfast is included in the room and is a high quality menu-controlled eating. the complete English breakfast was lovely. the adjacent library serves the juice and the buffet of cheese, meat, fruit and bread. the coffee was excellent! we ate also lunch in the bar and enjoyed sandwiches. they have to order the side of the truffles as they were heavenly!

Positives first. The hotel and grounds are stunning. But…… what has happened to the standards of food and service. I made a lunch reservation for two friends and myself as a special treat which we had been looking forward to for some time. On arrival, I would have expected to be shown to the table, but instead we were handed menus and pointed in the direction of a table at the end. This was laid up for 4 people so I had to check with the waiter this was the correct table. If I book for three then I expect the table to be laid for three and not have to start moving furniture and table settings. We ordered drinks and our food. Drinks arrived and some water.
