"Visited the bar a few days ago. My sister has a nut allergy and there were no signs at all if their cakes (or even other meals) have nuts in it or not. We ordered the apfelstrudel and after some bites my sister realized that...there was something in it that had a huge resemblance to haselnut crumbs. So we asked the waiter and he assured us the pie may only contain spoores of nuts if some other dish was directly prepared beside it. So unfortunately, we trusted him but as we took a closer look to what was in the cake we knew that these tiny crumbs were definitely nuts. Confronting the waiter he went to take a look in the recipe book or so and came back telling us the apfelstrudel is usually made with nuts. No apology, nothing. Normally you would think that you deserve a discount or at least an apology. But no. We payed the whole price and quickly left the restaurant. Fortunately, my sister is doing well. But we are not going to visit Borowski again due to our bad experience that could've ended very badly for my sister."

We were craving pasta and really enjoy our meal at Borowski. The staff was super nice and helpful, they had an English version offer in the menu and the staff were very good as well. Good prices.

Situated on the first floor this restaurant offers a nice view over the Prager Strasse. You can enjoy a good german style menu on the terrace. Borowski offers typical german cuisine with original combinations (for me). Voir le carte

we had dinner last night at this place; it was very nice to sit outside in the 2nd floor to look over the prager road. Eating was good, more than enough and well presented. price was fair, 1 entree, 2...3 drinks for just over 42 €

beautiful place to sit outside, they are over the road and in the position to watch the world past, the service is good and the food and drinks are brilliant, and the apfelstrudel was for dying, and all this for an excellent price. I would recommend this place to everyone.

Visited the Borowski for a quick dinner before watching the Rouge One. The food was great with a reasonable. I had the crepe with chicken gratin filling and my partner had the gnocchi with ham and mushrooms. Last time my partner complained the service was...extremely slow but this time the food came quick and the service was great. Voir le carte

Was staying in the Ibis Koenigstein about 50 metres distance and looking for somewhere for a quick meal and a beer tentatively climbed the stair to check out this bistro style rstaurant. Although MTV or similar was playing it was not loud or obtrusive and...there is a good atmosphere. A wide variety of dishes was available and portions are a good size although reasonably priced. Returned on two further evenings!

we found this place almost randomly as it is hidden up there. it has an external balcony where we have dined the first night, but in the next night we have thought up because it was cooler with a stiff brise, the service was not the fastest, but. we were not in a hurry and equipped with the ambiente of the restaurant. the food was at a reasonable price (euro 35 for three courses and two pint beer). we had a dessert both nights, first the apfelstrudel with vanilla sauce. it was the lightest apfelstrudel I ever had and was absolutely delicious. the second night dessert was a walnut nougat cup that was just as delicious. I would definitely recommend eating here.

"Quite disappointed. The prices and past reviews made me believe this was going to be a fine dining experience to remember. Unfortunately, this was not the case. Atmosphere upon entry was awkward, with several waiters and waitresses (including the apparant hostess) passing us by multiple times before we were greeted and seated. After waiting 20 minutes to order our entry drinks we ordered a 4 course surprise menu containing meat and fish respectively, including a wine pairing menu. We were quite curious to see what variety of meats and fish choices the kitchen would come up with in their simplest of surprise menu's. Imagine our surprise when the first course was vegetarian! Don't get me wrong, I definitely enjoy vegetarian meals, but thats everything we didnt order.. The second course, a clear beef soup, was very standard and boring. And I must admit the main course iberico ham with a good pairing red wine was ok. My partners fish main course (the only one of 3, after ordering for a 3 course fish surprise menu) wasnt interesting at all, and had a weird wine choice. Sadly the last course was again mediocre as the full sweet dessert wine overruled the sort of sweet dessert. After the second course the staff stopped asking how the food was, as if they knew it wasnt up to Gault Millau standards. Ordering drinks after dessert was only possible by walking up to the bar ourselves, so no thanks. Even the bill we had to go fetch ourselves at the bar. Even here the staff didnt even dare ask how everything was and if we enjoyed our dinner. All in all: a lot of potential but overall disappointing. Would not recommend"
