"Visited Hartleys for lunch, it’s probably been about 18 months since we last went but every time we have eaten there we haven’t been disappointed and this was no exception.On arrival we were met by the waitress who was really friendly, a great first impression. It felt very safe with sanitiser dotted around for customers to use, a request for our details and tables positioned to allow social distance rules to be adhered to. All tables with the exception of one were reserved and even the one not reserved ended up being taken, so it had a great buzz about the restaurant.The food was delicious, my husband had the ribs with salt pepper fries I had the chicken wrapped in Parma ham in the most gorgeous sauce. The waitress was working on her own but that didn’t prevent the service from being spot on. Everything about our visit was fantastic and I would 100% recommend it."

"I have been to the Brown Cow on several occasions and have never been disappointed. The food here is excellent and affordable. I would recommend that anyone who would like to go here to book a table especially on a weekend. While staying with my son for a few days we managed to get a booking 2 days in a row. The staff are always very friendly and helpful. Also the menu is very good, I struggle to decide what I want to eat, as all my favourites are on there. The sweets are divine again I have trouble deciding what I want, so much so that I have decided that I will go through the menu and try everything they have to offer. Looking forward to my next visit hopefully it won't be too long."

"Actually had breakfast and dinner here but I've reviewed breakfast under the hotels name. Visited Oscars as staying at the hotel and the menu looked lovely. A few days before coming, the menu changed and I had a little panic as you do! One of us will eat anything, and the other is a bit more particular, and there was only one thing on the mains they would eat. Anyway I needn't have worried we both had soup to start with which was piping hot and prompt. The bread roll could have been a bit larger but that said, I was full at the end of the meal! Then one of us had the duck main (this was missing the endive nobody could explain why but hey ho) and the other had the steak burger. Both plates were wiped clean by the end and satisfied smiles on our faces. We didn't need dessert but have you even been away if you don't come back heavier even if its just one night. Cheesecake and tart both lovely and a nice sized portion. Staff were attentive but not intrusive."

"I would never have wanted to come to this city, but there is a motorcycle meeting here, so I needed somewhere to stay. The Redline was a bit difficult to get used to at first. The room is right on the street, but can be reached from the back via a detour of around 50 m. There is also free parking there if you can find it. The landlord was very accommodating and showed me to my room, even though, as I said, it was quite a journey to get there. I've gotten used to it and find it quite acceptable. The room is perfect for one person with its own clean wet room. The bed (approx. 1.20 m) can also be used for a short time by two people. I like it a little wider, but it would work. No breakfast is offered on site, but there is a box with some cereal. The stocked refrigerator offers milk, apple juice and fruit juice as well as yogurt. I'm pretty happy. If you are looking for a restaurant, you can visit the Brown Cow, about a 5-minute walk away. The food is English, breakfast is also offered from 10:00 a.m., very rich and fairly priced. It was also recommended by my host and I can recommend it to others."
