"I recently visited Findhorn with my friend and absolutely loved the atmosphere and the people. The cakes and coffee were delicious, but I have to be honest and say that the Greek Summer Salad and chili on the baked potato we ordered were quite average, maybe even below average. I think the dishes could benefit from some more seasoning - the Greek salad would be improved with a bit of lemon juice, pepper, salt, and a touch of nooch, while the chili could use some more spices. Taking the time to properly prepare the food would really make a difference in taste. Despite this, I still plan on returning because I love the overall vibe of the place. I wish the chefs all the best on their cooking journey and hope to see many happy customers in the future. Sending love from Aberdeen. Lucia x"

Always a pleasure to stop by the Phoenix for a little something when visiting the Findhorn Foundation.

Wonderful cafe in the bohemian area just next to our campsite at Findhorn. The staff are so friendly and the cake was wonderful. If you come to Findhorn give it a try.

A really attractive cafe with outdoor seating in a woodland setting. Food is delicious and healthy and the staff are charming and friendly. Really worth visiting though service is not fast.

We stopped by for coffee and cake in the morning at this beautiful restaurant. The outdoor seating area was peaceful and charming. We tried a mix of coffee drinks (flat white, latte, americano, cappuccino) and they were all excellent. The homemade baked goods were also delicious, we couldn't resist trying a bit of everything. We highly recommend stopping by and exploring the Community area as well. Voir le carte

After having some disappointing lunches at other places recently, we were pleasantly surprised by our experience at this unique cafe. It was definitely the best meal we've had in a while. We enjoyed a delicious homemade sweet potato and spinach curry, a well-stuffed brown wrap with brie, cranberries and walnuts, a chocolate brownie Chia with berries, all accompanied by the best coffee we've had in a long time. We highly recommend this place.

My wife and i visited the cafe twice while on holiday at Findhorn holiday park. We thoroughly enjoyed both visits. There is a good choice of food on offer. We had coffee and cakes. The cakes were very tasty and the choices differed from the usual eg -apricot and almond , pear and blueberry) There is seating both inside and outside the cafe and all covid protocols are in place. The cafe is a lovely relaxing place to visit and the friendly attentive service is the icing on the cake.

"Genuinely couldn't fault the experience. When I heard that the Drouthy had a new menu focusing more on a veggie and vegan base, I knew I had to give it a whirl. The starter of hot Smoked salmon with lemon creme fraiche and oatcakes was simple yet packed full of flavour. I could have easily have had 10 plates of that and been happy to give it 5 stars. My partner had the smoked duck and even though I have given up meat, I was salivating at the look of their dish. They assure me that it was as delicious as it looked. Served with lavender roasted potatoes (which I'm told were amazing and charred salsify. The mains were more than a match for the brilliant starters. If I could give one piece of advice, it would be get the beetroot risotto. Not being a massive fan of beetroot, I wasn't too sure about it. But the incredibly warm waiter (for my son's, I never got his name. I only hope he can forgive me if he reads this! assured me it was tasty. He was not wrong. Beautifully cooked vegan risotto with balsamic beetroot chunks, shiitake mushrooms and rocket, it was simply divine. WHEN I go back, I'll be hard pressed to go for anything else because it was so delicious. It was creamy, packed full of flavour and cooked absolutely perfectly. Just the right amount of bite, nowhere near being mush like you get in a lot of other places (who charge a lot more, by the way . Superb. The highest of compliments to the chef. I was so taken by my dish I forgot to ask how my partner's was until I had eaten all of mine. But their home made vegan tagliatelle had disappeared from the plate so it must have been amazing. I couldn't handle dessert so had a delicious ruby port (delaforce I think it was called , and I would also like to give credit to whoever came up with their wine list. It covered every single base and no-one could ever be disappointed. Finally, if you're ever in Elgin, please make sure this is one of your destinations. You will leave extremely happy."
