"The food was not good at all with an inclination to put funny, over-empowering sauces on everything. From the burger to the fish and the chips. On the latter, it wasn’t actually a whole fish battered and deep fried but some haddock or cod fish fingers that although they were fresh, they were processed at the end of the day. That’s not fish and chips to me. Honestly, just removing these thousand island sauces and stuff will automatically increase the quality of the food. In any case, that’s never a good sign coming from the kitchen as what are they hiding?The beer is fresh and being homonym to the town where this place is located I wouldn’t have expected otherwise. The experience could have been much better but it ended up being rather mediocre. Couldn’t understand how come is the second ranked place in Bitburg but once I got to know the town and its culinary offer I completely understood."

We popped in for a beer and a light bite. Friendly staff with excellent English. Made our visit more enjoyable. We'd definitely visit again

Onley intended to have a beer and enjoy the sun ..after seeing other peoples food being delivered wd decided to take a hamburger each.was very tastey, freshley cooked and served with a smile..

Went for lunch here on a Business trip in April. Service was quick and efficient, great choices to choose from and great food. View out to the square on a sunny day was perfect. Beer great Curry-wurst was great and delicious

together with 30 other persons, we had a very good 3 plate meal , for in my eyes very cheap, i did pay euro 30 including 3 free beers, and paying one capuccinno and one likor , the free beers are there , when you visit , the same day the brewery for euro 8 , but there too, you have two free beers , woh !so in total 5 free beers Voir le carte

We stopped there an evening on our way home and we were really pleased with the experience, everything a german "beer house" should be. Good beers available, nice atmosphere, very friendly service. The food is very simple but tasty and cheap, exactly what we were expecting. We'll definitely be back if in the neighborhood again, thx!!!!

Taken by friends here. We were amazed at this very efficient tour. It was all in German, our friends helped with the translation, conducted by a very sprightly 76 year old who told us that he worked for the brewery for 50 years. Sampled the wonderful Bitburger beer, my husband is now trying to get this out in his local! Good gift shop with sensibly priced gifts.
