"We discovered this place on the advice of the owner of the centopercento gusto restaurant, who unfortunately was unable to welcome us on Saturday evening. I probably wouldn 't have chosen it if I had walked past it, I would have feared pre-cooked cuisine for undemanding tourists, perhaps because of the name Bistrot which reminds me of the terrible bars/diners of my Paris as an Erasmus student. Nothing could be further from reality: a well-kept place, but not in my style, given the limited space with too many materials (brick, stone and wood) of different styles (original terracotta floor combined with outdoor tiles and wooden tables covered with a large Persian-like carpet) with a thousand trinkets and mismatched furnishings; fairly courteous staff, a little in a hurry given the perhaps unexpected covers; high level cuisine! We had a scampi cream risotto for 2, very tasty but still delicate, soft and creamy, perhaps too al dente for my tastes but nothing to say about the flavour. Followed by a sliced tuna with pistachio and acacia honey (perfectly cooked, nice pink cut and soft inside) plus roasted sea bass with potatoes and baked cherry tomatoes (juicy fish not at all dry, with crunchy and aromatic side dish). All in more than generous portions and well presented. Very honest prices for the quality and quantity (coffee and water included we paid 70 euros round) excellent location (right in the center but slightly away from the chaos) and relaxing atmosphere. We will certainly return to taste the other proposals on the menu and to try the delicious desserts that we glimpsed on the tables of other customers. Highly recommended!!!!"
