Birch - Carte

Been here twice now. The food and service are excellent. Such a lovely little gem of a place. Can’t wait to try the Sunday dinner. Would highly recommend.

Fabulous post lock-down meal. Great soufflé, breads and pork belly. Followed by excellent lamb, fish and chips, steak and arancini. Superb puddings as well sticky toffee and chocolate tart. Good service and an excellent meal.

Excellent food (Ossobuco) and very accommodating of my special dietary needs. Thank you so much. Delivered to home. Only exception was the Cavolo Nero which we found a bit stringy and chewy. Not a great fan of that but that is just personal choice. Would have preferred Kale. Can highly recommend all 3 courses. Voir le carte

Had the loveliest meal in a really relaxed setting, all 3 courses were delicious, we all said we have to keep coming back until we have tried everything on the menu. My one bit of advice would be to maybe not serve the wine on the menu next to where you can buy it on the shelf as the mark up is just looking you in the face.

Ever since discovering this amazing restaurant that offer a vast array of VEGAN options, I’ve not been able to resist. Not only do they offer a different option each week, but they are also so accommodating if you want to make any changes. Super friendly, amazing food and great value for money. 10/10 would recommend, I will be sure to visit as often as I can.

We have had food delivered by Birch, probably half a dozen times now, initially it was for Christmas Day as someone recommended them to us. Every single delivery has been really good miles better food than you would get in the usual pub food category, this is food that is far better than I can make at home, its excellent quality, interesting, colourful we love Birch and cannot wait to visit in person. In the past few weeks of lockdown three, we have treated ourselves to Birch’s special Valentines Night dinner which was delivered with full instructions for reheating and it was delicious. Since then, we have had a superb Sunday lunch delivered piping hot and ready to eat and then tonight we tried the Steak meal deal for 2 which was absolutely superb and excellent value. Thank you so much Team Birch we can’t recommend you highly enough.

We decided to try Birch's Sunday Roast takeaway. I have to say it was nigh on perfect. I can only assume it would be even better if sat in the restaurant dining. Portion size was good, in fact my wife could probably do with a children's portion. The Rhubarb Stem Ginger crumble is to die for. The trifle could maybe do with a splash more sherry but that's personal taste. Thank you I will be recommending to all. Excellent service all around

Honestly one of the tastiest roast dinners I’ve ever had! Disappointed they didn’t have chicken I settled for pork and glad I did! Absolutely lovely food, crackling, Yorkshire, greens and creamy cheesy leeks. No apple sauce or parsnips but I’ll forgive you. Yummy roulade for dessert. The only reason it’s not 5 stars is the service was very very slow. We weren’t in a massive hurry but it took 45 minutes before our order was taken... will definitely return though! Very good price for an amazing roast dinner in the area. Voir le carte
