"I visited the School House Restaurant on Sunday, April 29, with my little child, and I had an amazing Sunday dinner! When we arrived at our table, there was a high chair ready for my son. The menu was clearly displayed on a board in the restaurant, offering an excellent selection of appetizers, main courses, and desserts. I was delighted by the choices, as everything sounded fantastic! I opted for a three-course meal for just £18.95. I enjoyed a classic prawn cocktail, a pork dinner, and a wavy caramel cheesecake. All the ingredients were high quality and expertly cooked. Even my 16-month-old son loved it, especially the cheesecake! The staff was friendly, the service was great, and the meal was a wonderful value for the price. I will definitely be back soon! Thank you for a fantastic dining experience."

"Came here with a small group of people after hearing great things, however we were left disappointed and hungry. A few of us ordered spaghetti carbonara and the pasta was undercooked and watery. There was hardly any sauce, and the sauce that was there was a very runny consistency which gathered at the bottom of the bowl. My friend had two mouthfuls before she decided it was inedible. We were not impressed for nearly £15 a meal. The drinks were nice and they had a good selection, although very pricey. Service was slow however our host was very pleasant and helpful. The venue was stifling hot with little to no ventilation, apart from the fire exit door which was continuously being slammed by passers by which was very off putting when trying to eat our meal or have a conversation. Disappointed as we had high hopes."

"We had to send one dish back! Delicious food but had to deduct stars for the cutlery not being polished there were dishwasher marks left on all of them, and the special of the noodles was very sour. I must say to their credit they replaced the dish quickly and without fuss so I 've increased my rating to four stars. Our friend is used to Asian food and eats it on a regular basis and he said the noodles were definitely off. Other customers were questioning the flavour but the chef was saying that it was correct. We feel the flavour profile was not balanced. Maybe too much lime juice was added to the miso? The steaks and mixed grills however were perfect. The ribeye cut like a knife through butter. The meat was so tender. Even the grilled herb tomatoes were so ripe and delicious. The chips were near perfect crunchy crispy and fluffy on the inside. They soaked up the vinegar perfectly which cut through the oil of the chips. Altogether a marriage of barbecue flavours that go together perfectly. We had the local IPA and a cider which paired perfectly with the meals. The restaurant was busy with local regulars and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Every request we made was met with a courteous no problem reply. Service was impeccable. The desserts for those in our party who could manage them were also delicious. There was a Mars bar Cheesecake and a kinder bueno tart which was dense chocolate. Highly recommended if you still have room after your main course! (I didn 't!"

"I have been here before but not recently. First impressions today were not good. Our table was booked for 12:00 and the lady who unlocked the door disappeared into the kitchen and nobody else appeared for a few minutes. There were no menus either. Eventually a young girl came and gave us a menu and served us drinks. We ordered the steak and mushroom pie and it was absolutely delicious. All home cooked and piping hot. Good value at £6.95. This pub used to be very busy on a Sunday and it’s a shame that it isn’t the case now. It has recently been refurbished and is clean with a nice decor. The food is definitely 5 star if you don’t want anything fancy just home cooked tasty food. The staff are friendly too"

"The staff at this restaurant are very friendly and welcoming. The Chicken Methi dish is excellent, with just the right amount of heat that enhances the flavor without overwhelming it. Delhi Nights understands that eating a curry should be enjoyable, not a challenge. Parking may be limited with a few spaces outside and potential parking on Storth Lane (away from the junction). The service is dine-in."
