The service is good but the food was a real disappointment! The starter, main course and even "chefs welcome" was not tasty at all, it was even yuck. Left hungry because couldn't eat the courses. And what surprised me most, they ve put on a table a bread bowl with one lonely piece of bread in it! Very weird.

I visited this restaurant with my girlfriend. We were late for lunch (after 3 PM) so we could not eat the daily special. We ordered a la carte. I had a breast of chicken. It was very tasty and well-presented. We were both satisfied and happy with our meal. The server was courteous and helpful. We paid 52 francs for our meals with no desert.

j'aime les endroits où l'on peut déjeuner tranquillement et où les collaborateurs sont toujours aux petits soins, le lieu est élégant mais sans affectation, on se sent tout simplement bien et toujours accueillis avec le sourire, un petit mot, une petite attention, ce qui en plus des plats du jour ou des mets à la carte, ( très bons d'ailleurs) se fait rare de nos jours ..Merci à tous. Au BG café, on est déjà extrêmement bien accueilli. Que l'on soit à 2, entre amis ou avec des enfants, sourire, professionnalisme, flexibilité, écoute sont au rendez-vous, par tous les temps. Vous vous sentez bien, chouchouté, dès les 1ères minutes. Ensuite, les plats arrivent et là aussi c'est une agréable surprise : c'est bon, bien présenté, bien servi. L'endroit est agréable, lumineux et je voudrais faire une mention spéciale à la propreté et à l'équipement des sanitaires car cela se fait malheureusement de plus en plus rare de nos jours. C'est un endroit où il fait bon s'arrêter le temps du déjeuner. Une excellente parenthèse dans une journée shopping par exemple.

Decoration is nice and they proposed a creative and light cuisine that will satisfy the most demanding. Reservation is mandatory as restaurant is always full at midday. The menu is composed of the dish of the day and other suggestion that changed every season. Service is professional. Restaurant at the top of the store Bon Génie (conveniently located in the center of Lausanne, Place St François). First attempt in this place popular for women .... (Indeed, very few men. I think it is because he is in a shop with articles mainly for...the female). The setting is very cozy with a lounge area to enjoy their fruit juices, coffee and homemade pie. We opted for a gourmet salad BG Café (smoked duck breast, foie gras and shrimp cocktail) and a Heart of Rump grilled herb butter nuts, potatoes anna and vegetables.
