Best Mangal 1996 is the top Turkish restaurant in London! I have been a patron for years and consistently enjoy the high quality of meat and exceptional service. If you are a fan of Turkish cuisine, I highly recommend this restaurant. You will undoubtedly fall in love with Best Mangal 1996!

Visited twice for dinner during our week in London. Fantastic staff, friendly and accommodating. Sat in the seating area at the rear to dine in. Efes beer on draft was an added bonus. Visited the second time because the first was so good. Would recommend this place that also caters for takeaways.

I made a reservation for lunch at this restaurant for yesterday, but when I arrived, I found out that it was closed. The staff incorrectly claimed that I had made a booking at a different venue, and showed no remorse for the inconvenience. I had given them my phone number for updates, but they did not use it. I cannot comment on the food since I didn't get to try it, but I will not be returning to this restaurant in the future.

I had grilled liver wrapped !!! I have to admit BESPOKE !! First of all RIGHT AMOUNT good quality very good value for money it is not easy to find restaurant like this , keel up like that guys . Right cooking temperature , most wellknown restaurant could get it .. but here chef deserve all stars ,, WELL EXPERIENCED CHEF MAKE BIG DIFFERENCE ON TASTE i hope boss pay all chefs what they DeseRVe.. it is not easy to find gooD chef like thaT

I used to frequent this restaurant often, but today will be my last visit. In a word, it was terrible. While I understand the need to keep prices competitive, the quality should not suffer. I ordered the Best with me dish to share with my companions, but when we started unpacking and eating, we were disappointed. The pita bread was flat and cold, the vegetables seemed undercooked, and the portion of shawarma was noticeably smaller than before.

it was the most horrible turkish food and the service we have received i have been a client for best mangal over 15 years but everything changed dramatically eventhough i know the owner and he is a friend of mine i paid over £200 and left hungry non of the service staff asked that if we want dessert or tea or coffee i asked for sugar it never arrived to table same happened for the ice i asked i ve asked three times for bill to come to table ... with that miserable staff working over 1996 i guess you should give them step of service training i m very disappointed and wont come back for meal or even takeaway i might visit kahya because of burhan and his nature of hospitality

What a place! I am a big fan of Turkish food and I've been to a lot of Turkish restaurants but this is by far and away the best I've been to. The food is great. It's tasty, simple and really well made . Just how it should be. Too many places in London overcomplicate the food and lose the authenticity. Then there's the people. Every single person working there is lovely, welcoming, kind and just like they say themselves, you do feel like they've brought you into their home. It might not be an obvious first choice for eating out I'd you're visiting London but I would absolutely spend the extra time to get on the tube or the bus and have an amazing dinner anytime I come to London rather than be...

I was passing so thought I would grab some take away food and thought it would be good and plentiful like a local one I have used a few times . I ordered a lamb shish, rice , salad and bread and was charged £13. I was surprised when I saw the small container he put into the bag which I guessed was the meat. When I got home I was horrified, the small container had a little rice which had 6 very small pieces of lamb , in my local you get 10 large pieces which these 6 would make up about 2 of them, mea twas tasteless and dry. The salad had a bit of green lettuce , no tomatoes, no onions only a sliver of red cabbage and a sliver of carrot, no dressing only a piece of lemon The bread was too thic...
