"Went here for lunch. I must say I do not understand the rave reviews that currently make the restaurant the no. choice in all of Augsburg. There is much better food to be had elsewhere in town. Specifically: the cabbage salat was far too...salty, the suckling pig, too dry (it looked like the pieces had been cut up earlier and left out). In the potato salad, there were huge chunks of uncut potatoes.The Kaiserschmarrn was a fairly dense kind of torn-up cake (admittedly the taste was nice), not the light and fluffy dessert it is meant to be. Street parking in the neighborhood can be a challenge, there is no parking lot."

it was once again very nice in the mountainyard biergarten. the food is excellent, best kitchen unfortunately we were allowed to sit on the table only std., since probably only after h open end reservation is possible. but good that there is the mountainyard still, after this crisis.

English friendly restaurant they have menus written in English for those that don’t read German. The staff will gladly help you with your food selection and beer selection. Food was superb. Soup, salads, Schnitzel. Gluten free options would be hard to find on this menu...unless you just wants salads. Late night food available. Family style tables.
