The rooms are spacious and quite comfortable. The location is perfect for walking around town and along the river.

Staff, food and ambience excellent. Quick drink, informal lunch or longer meal -all lovely. Dogs welcome too! Walkability: Right in the centre of town. Next to theatre and park. Difficult to fault this hotel. It has a lovely boutique feel with a great combined bar dining area. The owner is often seen clearing tables at breakfast and attending directly with customers. We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! We visited for a wedding and spent two nights here. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and we couldn't find any faults during our visit. The only drawback was the very limited parking at the hotel itself, but we were able to find ample parking on the street; the hotel provided us with a parking disk for that.
