Nipped in for a quick beer after work, miles from home but made welcome seemed a really freindly local pub, will defo call in again.

I had an excellent lunch with the steak sandwich, which offered great value for money. The beer was enjoyable as well. The cost per person was between £10 and £20. Here's my rating: Food: 5, Service: 5, Atmosphere: 4. There is plenty of parking available, including a free parking lot.

Charming country pub with ample outdoor seating and a great selection of locally cooked dishes. I visited on a Saturday afternoon and enjoyed the lively atmosphere in the square. The food is homely and affordable, the drinks are well-kept, and the staff is friendly. It’s an excellent spot to recharge after a walk or a scenic drive.

Last-minute dining for a group of 10 was no issue at all. The food was cooked to perfection and arrived hot and fresh. The best chips I’ve had in ages—they were proper, homemade chips! The pie of the day was fantastic, and the halloumi fries were definitely made by hand. The homemade onion rings were also a delightful touch. Everyone had a lovely time and enjoyed the delicious food. We'll definitely be returning, especially since they are dog-friendly!

The pub boasts a large parking lot with accessible spaces and a ramp leading to the entrance, making it wheelchair-friendly with wide doors for easy access. On nicer days, there's a spacious beer garden, although it's located next to a busy main road. The food offers straightforward 'pub grub'—not overly creative, but well-prepared and delicious, with generous portions. The kitchen has an excellent hygiene rating of 5. For entertainment, there are TVs with Sky Sports, as well as a pool table and dartboard. Overall, it's a fantastic spot to spend some time, whether for an afternoon drink or an evening out.
