For the second year we had our Petanque awards ceremony here. To serve dinner for 50 people simultaneously is tricky, but to serve such great food, and so quickly is a amazing skill. Ate here for the second time recently, after commenting on the lack of vegetarian options a couple of years ago. I’m pleased to say that the vegetarian options were absolutely delicious this time, particularly the lentils beans in pastry with a rich tomato sauce. Our meat eating family members also loved the options on offer. The restaurant is in a beautiful location of the river and was beautifully lit with candles and fairy lights too. We held a surprise birthday party here for a party of 15. From the first enquiry Rosy and the team were brilliant, we organized pre-orders and all the admin with no hassle. The food was superb, highlights for me were the chorizo starter and belly pork WOULD RECOMMEND! . The team were fab on the night, nothing was too much trouble, and service was attentive and extremely prompt. Beautiful setting, terrific food and exceptional service. A massive thank you to Rosy and the genuinely lovely team and a big recommendation from us.
