"On one of the hottest days the air conditioning was playing up but no attempt was made to bring in fans. The breakfast was lovely however it took almost an hour to come and the restaurant wasn’t that busy. Not sure if the breakfast is cooked for the hotel attached and this is the problem. The service wasn’t very good. Staff were rude asking if everything was ok but walking away before we answered. Not bringing any butter for about 10 minutes after it was asked for or tap water given the sweltering temperatures. Definitely wouldn’t return. I had booked this restaurant months ago after reading good reviews but our experience wasn’t very good."

The restaurant is in a beautiful location overlooking Kensington Gardens. The staff was attentive and gave our large group space to chat. They even surprised me with a sweet treat for Mother's Day.

Customer service was extremely slow and impolite. It was impossible to get the attention of the waiters since they were barely around. The food wasn’t great either. The consistency of the truffle rigatoni was very lumpy and off.

The dining experience was disappointing. The food was mediocre and the lighting in the restaurant was strange. The service was alright, although our dinner plates were not cleared and we were not offered a dessert. I do not plan on returning.

Having been given our menus we sat there for 15 minutes with no approach from the staff. The restaurant was severely understaffed and it was obvious we were going to have to wait much longer. We decided to leave and informed a staff member at the till who just shrugged. We will not be going back.

The overall experience at this restaurant was enjoyable, with good service and ambience. However, the food was disappointing. We ordered a Caesar salad, but were disappointed to receive only two pieces of chicken, a few chunks of torn baby gem lettuce, and two small pieces of anchovy. The salad was not only lacking in content, but also poorly presented. For a price of £22, it was poor value for money.

Not well organised. The menu online and the one they offer you are totally different. They had to do some substitutions cause they didn’t have what we wanted. Burger really overcooked and fish almost raw. They compensate with some more free chips… The best was dessert. The mille feuille is to die for. The toilet is actually out of the restaurant in the hotel next door lobby. Price vs quality just adequate.
