One of the best meals I’ve ever eaten!! Would recommend to anyone visiting Cornwall. We stayed In St Austell and was recommended Asquiths Would defo visit again when next in Cornwall Great food and wonderful service and very reasonably priced

I visited this restaurant for my partner's birthday, as Asquiths is our go-to place for special occasions. My partner, who is a chef and hard to please, always enjoys the flavors here. The service is excellent, the food is great, and we've been to Michelin-starred places that don't compare to the quality of this restaurant. Thank you for a lovely evening.

This is a wonderful, cozy restaurant offering a modest selection of fine but generous dishes. I had the kedgeree that was delicious followed by a rich chicken pasta dish that was reminiscent of old school french Keith Floyd style with a rich cream sauce again, really delicious. We had an amazing meal here last night with our friends. We all really enjoyed it and it was the nicest meal we have had in a long time. The duck was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection and the combination of flavours in all the dishes worked perfectly. The service was great and the staff very friendly. I would 100% recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys fine dining.

We booked Asquiths for a special meal, last night of our holiday and our wedding anniversary, we certainly got one. From start to finish everything was spot on, the atmosphere was welcoming and the food top notch. I went mackerel then steamed bream, my wife soufflé and the fillet/shin, both faultless. Washed down with a nice bottle of wine and finished with a lovely panna cotta and cheese platter. Thank you for a lovely meal.

we chose this restaurant whilst we were visiting Cornwall, based on its good reviews and we were not disappointed. It is tastefully decorated with coloured paneled walls and comfortable seats. The food was of high quality and very well presented on the plate. You were given time to casually enjoy the flavours of your meal, with a suitable time period between courses for you to digest. Although I don't typically leave reviews for restaurants, I felt compelled to praise the exceptional dining experience we had at Asquiths in Lostwithiel last night. The attentive staff went above and beyond to accommodate my mother's food intolerances, modifying her menu selection (the venison haunch) with care and understanding. The food, prepared to perfection and presented elegantly, was truly delicious. The outstanding service and charming decor made our evening unforgettable. Thank you.

We had made a reservation for dinner at this restaurant after hearing positive reviews, and we were not let down! The charred mackerel starter was intriguing and delicious, and the halibut main course was a sizable portion, perfectly cooked, and accompanied by a tasty sauce. While my dessert was satisfying, the starter and main course were exceptional. The wine list was extensive, and the house white was both delicious and reasonably priced. If you're in the area, it is definitely worth a visit!

Been coming here for years but it’s been a while. It’s always been good and absolutely deserves all the positive reviews. I’m not going to list the food. Go look at the menu. It was astonishingly good. I’ve done a fair few fancy London restaurants and several with Michelin stars. This place just effortlessly kicks many of them to the kerb and I don’t understand why folk aren’t clamouring for a table. It’s not particularly cheap but it’s certainly not stupid prices and there aren’t too many places these days where you leave thinking that it was absolutely worth every penny. It’s a beautiful dining room too and Sally on front of house perfectly attentive but discreetly so. Will be back very so... Voir le carte
