"I've tried a few running sushi places in the Scwabing/Maxvorstadt area, and thus far Asahi is my favorite, hands down. It may be because they are new and not, so busy, but they by far put more fish onto their sushi buffet. Unlike other places, I haven't had to wait for nigiri to be added to the bar since they seem to add more as soon as some is taken away. However, the selection is still limited like most running sushi. Salmon is primarily the only fish you will see. Occasionally you will find octopus, and squid nigiri and tomago is always there. Rolls are different mixtures of veggies (cucumber, avacodo), cream cheese and salmon or crab stick with occasional tuna and white fish. The hot dishes here are far far better than other running sushi. They have a good thai selection inclueding red curry, yellow curry and satay (which unfortunately dries out on the bar pretty quickly), as well as about four or five different stir fries. My favorites was the peppercorn beef with celery and potato slices. Fried items are also on offer, but I usually avoid these, since they go bad so fast. There is also a good selection of desserts that, like the nigiri, are replenished very quickly.Overall very happy that the bar is always kept stocked unlike other places where you wait and wait for the items you want to come by. Hopefully this will continue as Asahi becomes more popular in Schwabing."

Not sure how this maintains high ratings. Overpriced, very little sushi, more fried dumplings than anything and for that you pay far too much

The ambience is ok. It is pretty close to Münchener freiheit. Parking is also not so easy to get. It seems the restaurant is not managed by Japanese, just a feeling though ..

Asahi is a nice small place when you are hungry and want eat for a good price.Dont expect fancy restaurant, but you will have fun and for 18,50 euros eat quite good food. There is a variety of dishes, they are filling the roll quickly. You can choose between good sushi's or hot meals. We were satisfied! Voir le carte

If you are looking for a mid-prized running sushi with great selections and good quality, go for Asahi. There are two levels of food on the running sushi, one for cold, traditional sushi and one for hot food. Al is fresh and of good taste. If you're hungry and don't want to spend a fortune, this is the place to be

In Leopoldstrasse, this restaurant is mainly know for "All you can eat" option. Food quality on average for a sushi-bar (which is not the best). Short selection at running table; it's nothing more than a good place for running sushi. Although is always full. If you don't want to spend much, you put quantity before quality or you are incredible hungry, this is the place to go

If you like sushi and plenty of it, this is your place of choice in Munich. The quality of the fish is surprisingly high for a running sushi place. I also liked the other hot dishes offered on the top conveyor belt - especially the crispy duck. Unfortunately, the restaurant is very small, so a reservation is a must - and don't arrive late, the staff will reassign your table and let you wait for the next vacant table. Voir le carte

A nice running sushi restaurant with good service. The buffet is worth the price, considering that you can eat starters, main course, plus desserts.I highly recommend reserving a table before you go, because the restaurant is small. If you walk in without a reservation, you might have to wait a long time for a free table near the belt of running sushi, or you might have to sit away from the belt & get up every time you want more sushi. That's obviously not ideal.

I was searching for a japanese restaurant during one night in München.I've seen this rolling sushi place, packed with people, near Giselastrasse U-Bahn exit: why not?I sat down and looked at the dishes. Only few Nigiri, lot of Maki with Surimi (which is NOT a fish, but it's made from fishes). You can eat thai dishes ad well from the roll band. The taste of the sushi is average, like what you can buy at any store. The formula all you can eat for 22 Euro. The dishes seems to be not well cleaned. Well, I survived. But a japanese restaurant it's really something different, even for the same price range.

"this restaurant has a very informative homepage! the pictures and descriptions of eating very appealing. Vietnamese and Thai dishes and sushi are offered here. too midday very cheap offers, but also the prices for the evening are still ok. If I read that much is placed on fresh ingredients and preparation, then that sounds promising in every case. also the images of the natives have addressed me positiw. I chose this locally to eat there with a group of 8 people. but I prefer the number to go safe and wanted to make a little one today. When I was in front of the place, I remembered that I was here a few times when it was the mistura tropicana. that I had not remembered the environment and the temperatures so well. it has changed visually, but already very positiw. much dark wood and also dark tables, chairs and benches. the walls in a beautiful cream yellow. in front of the windows the green curtains are a beautiful color-kick. as usual in more and more restaurant 's, the bar is guided indirectly, here in a green illuminated. I didn't think it was too good, but I did. only disturbing for me was a bright metal tree in the entrance area. does not fit the rest of the natives. Unfortunately, it was pretty cool. the one of them was hired quite late. it was also warmer in the evening. Nevertheless, I would strongly recommend a knitted jacket here. the tables very beautifully covered and there are small blunt cutlery and tee lighter. but they only do to the tables that are occupied and that was only our table around 18 o'clock. at 10 o'clock then came some, otherwise the place unfortunately remained empty. the service was super friendly and super attentive yet with restraint. when I eat, I did not discover my beloved bo la lot on the map, a scandal! so my choice fell on baked killers (3,90€) that are made themselves. they were on the table. that really went extremely fast. but they were really made themselves. the filling is quite imperfect/compact (I have the right word to describe it better, but well tasted. they were beautifully crispy. the sweet chili sauce also cost me well. we didn't have to wait long for the main courts. once roasted rice band noodles with huh (10,50€ and once red curry with tofu and sweet (9,50€). great that they are placed in a crook on a storch, so the dishes are warm longer. the dishes were served in beautiful dishes. only the petersilie as deko is already very retro; tastefully also very good. nice had a light to drink prices: 0.4l water for 2,50€ soft drinks/selections 0.4l for 3,50€ and wein 0.2l for 4,00€. and unfortunately again the beer is cheaper than softdrink: 0.5l for 3,50€. our desire for separate calculations was met without problems and we were offered an espresso or schnaps etc. here we liked to pamper with a klempner wine. a few small commentaries: sushi is not the next 14 days (sushimaster has vacation, but we only know on request, I would like to know as info if the menu is handed over by toilets in the cellar, so not disabled. however clean, even if very 70s the customer parks are not freed from snow (abb:. obviously the evaluation was read because at the 2nd visit the snow a few cakes was cleaned with 8 people: that was not overcrowded before place, but in the cellar there was a birthday company that had only made karaoke and then we were from 20/20. service very nice and friendly. Drinks and eating were often only served by one side and we guests should pass it then, we all found a little disturbing. better 4 guests from one side and the other 4 then from the other side. in advance it was krupuk. after that we still have mango with a mixture of salt, garlic, chili and garlic powder get very sharp, interesting and delicious. even more candied ingwer (also delicious.) all ordered dishes were good and very good! only the fact that the pangasius was picked in the red johannisbeere was not so beneficial. because it was covered with red course, the panade was very soft and gly. either I served it separately or even better: use pangasius nature. in the menu was also no notiz on a panade. service and have definitely convinced me and also the environment that I like well (okay, except on the flashing led tree."

"As a tourist from Los Angeles, I would highly recommend this restaurant; in fact, it is a must-go.When my family and I arrived at the restaurant, we received a warm welcoming and were seated in a nice, comfy spot near the center of the restaurant. Before ordering, the waiters served us an "ouzo" shot, which later I found out to be a very traditional Greek drink. It's minty flavor mixed with its potent alcohol really gives you a strong kick and fires up your spirit. I absolutely loved it!First, I ordered the fish soup. Inside the soup were fresh cut carrots and potatoes and extremely tender salmon. Such an excellent choice! My family and I got the lamb chop, seafood plate, and a meat plate. Unlike many other restaurants, the meat was juicy and tender. The portion was very filling and satisfying. The seafood was very flavorful. Overall, a magnificent main course! Finally, the flaming cognac was absolutely breath-taking. The showcasing of the wine was indeed very entertaining. The concentration of its alcohol combined with its fruitiness really made the whole dinner come to a nice ending.Something more memorable than the already magnificent course was the over-the-top service of the whole restaurant. They were so attentive to everything! It was extremely reminiscent to a Thanksgiving dinner where everyone present was there to enjoy the company of each other.I assure you that you will never....ever find a restaurant that was remotely close to the degree of excellence and prestige as this one."

"I often feel like visiting a Greek restaurant as a short trip to Greece. Pleasant holiday memories come high and winter before the door is quickly forgotten. If you travel from Munich to Erding with the S-2, you will find the view of this Greek restaurant at the Feldkirchener secondary station. Large chestnuts with a typical beer garden, a beautifully renovated house. One hopes for a good meal at perhaps cheaper prices than in Munich. The restaurant was well visited when I arrived. The guest room consists of two interconnected rooms. The decoration is Greek-altbacken. The tables and chairs are very close to each other. The greeting was very friendly, we were immediately shown a place. An ouzo was also brought together with the menu. The menu did not show any special features, but that was not expected. The number of dishes beats, the variation of the individual dishes is often low. That's relative. I had grilled Gyros with baby Calamaris, with rice, Zaziki (inner of a finished product) and salad. The Gyros was good, the Kalamaris – good and he really rests was not worth a review. The restaurant is recommended, otherwise I would go for another place for dinner. The beer garden seems worth a trip in the summer. The old chestnuts are also very worth seeing without leaves. Others: The toilets are clean, but not clean. Rich parking is available. S-Bahn at a distance of 30 m."
