"Bit of a dream. Wonderful decor, excellent wine list, utterly sensational beef ragu with pappardelle, friendly staff, all of whom are (literally) invested in the restaurant. Went for lunch, but suspect it would be as good if not better for dinner. Menu is short, well put together, and convincing. Cakes and bread in the window. The obvious place to go for lunch in Arundel, and a new star in the area: knocks The Pig well off its pedestal, and even threatens the Parson's Table."

"We had delicious afternoon tea here finger sandwiches, tea and scones with cream and jam, and cake all the food is prepared to an extremely high standard, and we were made to feel so welcome by Helen and Kelly. The tea room has a welcoming, vintage vibe, with lots of things to look at while you're eating. Outdoor seating is also available during good weather. The facilities were clean and well appointed. We felt very safe with regards to strict adherence to covid guidelines. Highly recommended to book in advance so that you get a table at this wonderful little eaterie! A hidden gem. Thank you to Tea in the Square for making our afternoon out, so special."

"What a wonder restaurant. Made very special by the lovely Italian lady who was our waitress. She loves the restaurant and her enthusiasm was contagious. The food was the best we have had in a long time. Everything was delicious. WE would recommend this place to anyone and wish that we lived closer so that we could take friends. The decor and music was also special and very laid back. Actually might make an overnight stay in Arundel just so that we can enjoy the food and wine fully without having to drive home it was that good!!!!"

"I myself and four friends booked a twighlight spa package that includes a two course dinner and glass fizz for Friday afternoon / evening. the spa is beautiful, although the dressing rooms are slightly dense for the room. after our treatment, which was excellent, but sad too short, we then moved to the hearthouse for cocktails and dinners that were wonderful! then we went back to my friend holiday home along the beach that our car in the hotel for the night we had preordered for the pickup the next day. one of the girls realized that they had left their jacket in the hotel after we had picked up the car the next day, so we decided to book Sunday dinner in the restaurant as we were so impressed, but when we arrived for our 12.00 table, it was not finished (our mistake was completely as we were five minutes early) the lady/maitre d was with us huge grumpy and very grumpy to go with us. we never saw the dame again (thanks quality) a beautiful young chap saw us sitting in the lounge and came by with menus, then brought us through our table. the menu was almost the same as the Friday night menu apart from adding a few frying options. our appetizers were excellent, but unfortunately the frying was very disappointing, the gravur was extremely watery and the meal total was bland. the reason why I didn't evaluate a total of five stars was because of our Sunday lunch experience. we will use the spa again!"

"I usually think this takeaway is great, but I ordered during the fireworks display and it took two hours for my meal to be delivered. I called three times for an update, but each time the phone was hung up on me. There was no offer of a refund (I paid by card) or anything. When the food finally arrived, it was cold and the poppadoms were crushed. I was very disappointed. If they knew there would be delivery delays, they should have informed customers or stopped taking orders."
