"I 'm now a returning customer and have stayed alone as a treat/break to destress, with a friend as a mums night away, and as part of a romantic break as a couple, and I 'll be coming back again. The pool and sauna are lovely, the gardens are pretty and a pleasant stroll even in the rain, and the 16th century building itself is a wonderful setting. The rooms are warm, comfortable, immaculately clean, well laid out and equipped with everything you need. The staff are polite, helpful and friendly, as well as accommodating. The breakfast buffet is a great mix of pastries, fresh fruit, with both premade granola pots and options to make your own, again beautifully presented. Coffee is fresh, and the cooked breakfast options are delicious, and the service is excellent. Having now had meals in the restaurant and bar, the food is of the same high quality and standard as everything else, and highly recommended. Despite living close enough to know a few of the people living locally through work, Angmering Manor has become a haven away from the hustle bustle and stress of everyday life. It 's in a beautiful setting with a quality of service that can 't be improved on. My only complaint would be that like many smaller hotels they don 't offer room service, but beyond that I can 't find anything that isn 't 10/10"

Terrible customer service, no smiles, no greeting, new staff on duty but not chaperoned by experienced staff, wrong wine given, no fruit on dessert, overcharged at the end of the meal! They have a gem of a hotel in a lovely location but no idea how to look after guests. Will never return.

An old Manor converted into a hotel, leaflet says the hotel has been operating since 2006. The feel is one staying in an English cottage. The place has a lot of character and is not a typical hotel one would expect while browsing the selection. There is a restaurant and a bar, there were more facilities advertised such as gym, therapist and sauna which we did not visit. The service of the restaurant, front desk and the bar scores over the food and drinks that were offered. Voir le carte

Just had our 6th wedding anniversary dinner at Angmering Manor. What a let down... we got married there 6 years ago today. The staff were not at all professional, we felt VERY rushed . They started setting up for breakfast we had not even finished our meal. The standards have dropped considerably. VERY disappointed indeed. We were rushed in at at 7pm from the bar as they said they were fully booked, but only 2 tables appeared after we went in. The food was excellent but spoilt by a feeling of being rushed.

We had a voucher for afternoon tea given by friends as it was a 50th wedding anniversary present. Our friends carefully researched hotels in our neighbourhood who could cater for our needs as my husband is in a wheelchair,we are both vegetarians and my husband has a nut allergy.Angmering Manor catered for us perfectly. The chef prepared food for us specially and it was all truly delicious. The staff were all friendly and very helpful and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend this venue for a memorable afternoon tea.

We were celebrating a friends anniversary as they had married at the manor 6 years before, and had a lovely time then, I have never eaten out and felt so rushed !!! The staff really need to brush up on their customer skills, we were told we had to be sat at the table for seven as they were fully booked , they were not!!! Talk about rushed, we were out of the restaurant way before nine!! They were setting up the breakfast things while we were still sitting at the table it felt like we were in the way . I will not be returning to Angmering manor, and will not recommend!!! Very disappointing experience Voir le carte

The hotel is inviting, charismatic and the smell of open fires is just lovely on a cold wet night. The dining room delightful. And sadly that’s as far as it goes for the positives. Firstly, the ladies on duty weren’t attentive in anyway, no greeting and no one enquired if any of us had allergies, and we had a Celiac dining. We had no water on the table. Our mains were nothing more than okay, and our desserts disappointing having to return 2 dishes as they were stone cold, sticky toffee pudding straight from the fridge is very unpleasant! Our plates whipped away and we thought we were ordering coffees, only to have our bill presented and told to pay on the way out! Such a shame as this establ...

My friend and I went here for Afternoon Tea today, after reading bad reviews last night i was concerned. We were greeted by a nice gentleman on reception who showed us to the table. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and overlooks the garden. We were offered tea or coffee, there were pretty bone china cups, saucers and plates set out on the table. The afternoon tea was beautifully presented with a selection of 4 different sandwich fillings, the bread was extremely fresh. There were homemade sausage rolls and a slice quiche. The scones and cakes were all homemade and were as follows, chocolate brownies, lemon drizzle cake, carrot cake,Victoria sponge, macarons and scones with jam and clotted...
