Amrit Potsdamer Platz

I walked past this a few times before going in. Quite large, but quick to be served. Went with the Butter chicken and was pleasantly surprised. A slightly unique taste, filling and quite reasonably priced

Indian cuisine is one of my favorites however the food in Amrit is equivalent to cafeteria quality. It is a very popular spot and probably is good value, it just cannot be considered suitable to an experienced palate. Sorry guys, time to lift your game.

The food was amazing and the portions were so big that we hardly managed to finish it. The restaurant has a beautiful interior and a lot of space for everyone. Waiters are very friendly and willing to help with the choice of meals. We’ll definitely drop by at our next stay in Berlin!

Great tasting Indian food, with fabulous service. The food came out very quickly (which might not always be a good thing?) and the service was great once you got the attention of a waiter. The restaurant was packed, and we very much enjoyed our complimentary shot at the end of our meal!

We were very hungry with my friend so we decided to eat in Amrit. The atmosphere is excellent, the place is so big, you'll find a free seat for sure. I personally loved the decoration and the concept of the restaurant. The staff is nice and patient and the food... Brilliant. I'll come back!

I dined here twice. I ordered different kinds of curry dishes respectively. The food was fresh and nicely spiced, and drinks were refreshing. However, on my second visit, the server who collected the bill, not even the one serving me during the meal, did not attempt to give changes back the second time I went. He just took the banknote away. Even though I did intend to leave the changes as tip, I had not indicated that to him. Just assuming your customer will always tip you was not OK attitude to have.

We were hungry after a day of sightseeing, spontaniously decided to stop at Amrit for dinner and were very happy with our choice. The waiters were quick, polite and always up for a joke. Drinks were good, and my Mutton Biryani delicious. Prices were very reasonable in my opinion. What really made our night though was to see how nice all the waiters were to a little girl that was there with her parents on the table next to us. They were playing with her, brought her cookies and always gave her a smile when they walked by. Just great to see!Would definitely come back when I'm in Berlin again and in that area!

My wife and I came across this restaurant by accident on the 15th July, and what a find it turned out to be. It was buzzing and the atmosphere was great.The staff were outstanding, very courteous and prompt with their service. We had both ordered a Paneer curry which was absolutely delicious. The quantity was spot on and the quality exceptional. We enjoyed our meal so much that we revisited the restaurant twice more over the next 4 days.Totally fabulous experience and well done to you, especially Pawi who we got to know quite well.They take credit cards if you spend over 15 Euro. A bonus as so many restaurants in Berlin do not accept them.

From outside, this looks like the best Indian restaurant you will see in Berlin. It is located so well, looks stunning and it is a huge huge restaurant with a large seating capacity both indoors and outdoors.We went here recently for dinner and I wouldn't say the food was bad, but it was nothing more than average specially when you are paying so much.I have been in Berlin since 6 months now and have tried at quite a few of the Indian restaurants and this is one of the most expensive ones.
