Great meal out.. Food was great along with service. They also accommodated a birthday cake for my daughter. Thank you Ampthill Tandoori!

The food was amazing, one of the best curries I have eaten and the staff brilliant for our party of 11 adults and 4 children. Could not believe what good value the excellent food was.

Booked a table for 8 online and all ready when we arrived. Excellent food enjoyed by all, a really varied menu and fantastic staff who ordered a taxi for us on departure too. Highly recommended!

Always our go to restaurant for a take away in ampthill, the food is delicious. This time booked for 25 of us to celebrate a family birthday and it was a brilliant evening. Fun and friendly staff, great service and well organised. The food was up to the usual fabulous standard and enjoyed by everyone.

We moved to Maulden 6 months ago and have already ordered a delivery several times. Not had one mean less than really good. The consistency is what's even more impressive. Key points are: Not over salted or saturated in oil. Always cooked fresh and vegetables very tasty. Despite many dishes on menu they all taste different which again shows freshly cooked. Deliveries always within time promised and hot. Also ate in once to date and that was fantastic. Overall great restaurant managed well with a chef who clearly knows how to work with Indian spices. Really tasty food, onion bhajis were the best I’ve had. Chicken tikka Biriani was excellent. However……we felt very rushed to eat our food as the waiter hovered over us when we hadn’t even finished. We were eating poppadoms and he came over and asked had we finished. I replied ‘no not yet’ so he then remained there at our table waiting for us to finish! Hardly anytime between courses allowed and my friend was drinking her coffee when again the waiter came and asked had she finished. She replied that she hadn’t finished and again he stayed there until she had finished! It was very weird. We use this restaurant for our Saturday night takeaway every weekend. We love the food although delivery can sometimes take a long while. This Saturday we ordered for 4 of us and u was sent a text link to pay by card. Usually for 2 we pay around 28 to 32 pounds depending on what we order. Last night for 4 it cost me £75! I paid but thought it couldn't possibly be correct so I telephoned them and they said my menu must be out of date as they have had a price increase (adding up from the menu our meal should of been £58.60) I thought this was an extortionate price increase. Have been to this establishment many times and ordered take out, can’t remember how many times, must be a lot as they know us now by name, we have always had good stuff to say about it this place. We placed a take away order in Nov on their website approx 6.30pm, paid in advance, told 45 mins to 1 hour for delivery, had a hungry family waiting for this.
