"We a had Sunday lunch here, and were left disappointed. Firstly we were hanging around for 10 minutes before being seated despite the place being empty and staff walking past us. One roast was luke warm, another came out without veg, portion sizes in general are quite small for the price. The service charge was included which normally i wouldn 't mind, but all we recieved was basically someone taking an order and then putting the food in front of us, which is fine, but for the price of food, portion size and quality i would expect a bit more for the extra charge. The one good bit of service was the member of staff who kindly said she would sort out getting the end of a bit of bread for us for our baby to chew, however when the bill came we had been charged full price for the 'Selection of Artisan Breads with balsamic, olive oil smoked sea salt ' despite recieving two small pieces of bread ends with no accompaniment. Service: 2"

"We recently enjoyed a farewell meal from this restaurant, and it was absolutely delicious—especially since it was delivered right to our door! The food quality is excellent, really flavorful, and the portion sizes are generous. The satay chicken was particularly outstanding. The delivery was quick, and both the lady I spoke with on the phone and the gentleman who delivered the food were very pleasant. We loved the tasty dishes and are thrilled to have a reliable option that delivers to Whitchurch!"

"The service is excellent, but the food was a bit hit and miss. We had a really lovely camembert starter and then my partner had the pie which he said was OK but kind of stodgy, I had caesar salad which was quite a dry peice of over cooked chicken in a bit of a messy salad. I didn't eat it all because it wasn't very nice. The wine was lovely and the waitress was fantastic. It was a bit like the food you'd expect to get at a Weatherspoon pub, so kind of expensive for budget food and not great cooking. I'd definitely go for a drink there again, because the service is great and the interior of the pub is really lovely but I would look to eat somewhere else in the village. There's a place up the road from there that does amazing Thai food and the curry house is also really good."

"The restaurant doesn't look appealing from the outside and also looks closed. Although not very busy we were given a table near the counter where takeaways were ordered which was a bit annoying during the meal. When the main course arrived the waiter tipped the rice onto our plates instead of allowing us to serve ourselves to the amount we wanted. We were disturbed by four different staff members asking us if we were happy with the food, which was a bit obtrusive whilst trying to eat. The ice-cream desserts were over priced so bought one in the Co-op over the road. The food was excellent which made up for the odd experience."

"I have to say this is the only time I have visited where I haven’t been satisfied It took ages for our order to be take for drinks when they eventually did take our drinks order we jumped at the chance and ordered our food. The starter arrived which was a sharing Camembert and we were not offered side plates which meant there was lots of cheese over the table after we had finished The food was ok I have no complaints there but after our plates were cleared for the main they did nor ask us to see the dessert menu or asked if we would like anything else. We waited and waited thinking that she would come back and we tried to get their attention without shouting by this time she had cleared the table next to us was being cleared and she immediately offered them the dessert menu. After half an hour of waiting to see the menu my fiancÃe had to walk up to the staff in the other room and ask for the bill because we weren’t going to be ordering desserts after having to wait. They were very apologetic but by this time it was too late. As myself and my partner don’t get to go on dates very often it ruined our one night out Service is everything in any establishment whether you’re eating pub grub or Michelin star food it’s not difficult to give great service and be attentive but when you clearly have wait staff who really clearly don’t want to be there it really shows I’m hoping this isn’t a regular occurrence but we won’t be going back for a little while."
