Better Americanos than the well known coffee shops in town. Staff very friendly. Spotlessly clean. Modern furnishings. Second time here and will definitely return.

Lovely place for a lunch. Mostly glass so it feels nice and open and fresh. The food is nice if a little expensive and the staff are a little rude but apart from that nice for a visit.

I have had the pleasure of having meetings using the office space and personal lunch times in here. The staff are amazing, bacon butties are lovely and of course the best latte in town. Thanks peeps Kev Voir le carte

I was taken there for my lunch. I had minestrone soup and chicken and bacon risotto. the quality presentation and take was unbelievable. the service was extremely friendly and the prices charged made it excellent value for the money. I will definitely be going there again

If you didn't know it was there you could easily miss this charming bistro hidden behind the reception of the Laurie's center. I think it's only open until 3pm but for lunch it's perfect. Nice atmosphere, pleasing menu, good coffee and quick friendly service, a nice antidote to the huddle and bustle of the town centre. Give it a try! Voir le carte

You are always assured of excellent customer service from the pleasant and efficient staff, the ladies always have a smile and banter for their customers. The food is delicious and first rate, my favorite being the Special Omelette. I also recommend the Fish and Chips, beautiful. If you are looking for a tasty meal during the day, i highly recommend Americano 's at the Lauries , you will not be disappointed.

We had our 50th Birthday here on 7th May.Right from the start of the booking in January it was all straight forward.as long as you pay your deposit a s a p and all paid 2 weeks before event they sort everything for you .even the dj.its all included in the price.what can I say about the buffet?it didn't disappoint.Everyone said it was lovely and plenty of filling in the sandwiches.Thank you Yvonne and your team it was a night we will remember for a long time.I highly recommend the Lauries and Americanos for anyone's event

With about 45 minutes to spare in Birkenhead I was looking for a pleasant place for coffee, before a meeting. This was my first visit to the newly appointed cafe at the Lauries and was well worth a visit. The cafe is at the back of the building and not well signed, but is worth asking for. Sleek lines ,a range of seating options, and pleasant staff. The menu is ambitious for a small outfit, so we indulged with a great pot of tea, lovely coffee and avocado on granary toast, all washed down with a glass of red following. Service was unobtrusive, would definitely call back again. Voir le carte
