Alte Zunft Kehl - Carte

We took a tram D from Strasbourg to Kehl to see the town and have a dinner in Germany. Had a wonderful time. Great real food and unpretentious atmosphere. Our waitress Marina was truly a delight.

It's a pleasure each time to be here. You're visiting your family in fact. Always so nice people, always an amazing quality of food, thank you!!!!! If it would be open for dinner, we would be the first ones to be here!

We ate here after reading the reviews on TripAdvisor. My wife had an omelette and I had a Schnitzel, both were very good, although you had to order fries (chips) as an extra. Still all in it was a good meal for a reasonable price,...with good beer too!! Voir le carte

good experience in this tlpischen restaurant /pub. good beer good food and nice people. this place is ok for the family. we arrived late in the evening, but soon we were served. I don't remember eating the names of the plate. but il was something with kartoffels and huh. unforgettable!

We stumbled across this gem after strolling down the highstreet in Kehl and realising as with Strasbourg the main restaurants are plastic and over-priced. Everything about this place was perfect, the food, the atmosphere and the service all A plus for almost a third less...then the price we paid in Strasbourg for similer food.

we had a great time in the old dress, delicious crispy flame flame flame flame / torte flambé with an apfel calvados one, on the table flamed. the team is really friendly and efficient and there is a good atmosphere. they have a large menu and drinks vary from...Hugo cocktails to good caught beer. this charming restaurant in a beautiful location next to the rosengarten and lily filled river is a real gem. summer on the terrace is a joy and is looking forward to the winter in the cozy retro interior! We have been going to Alte Zunft for several years and we have never been disappointed in the food or the service. A local pub/restaurant off the main centre, it is host to locals and on the ocassions we have been there we were the...only foreigners which pleases me as I know the food is authentic and reasonably priced. They have several local beers on tap and the menu has a wide selection of typical German Fayre. I love their salads as they are so different from the usual Salad Nicoise although this is on the menu too. Warm, friendly, cosy and comfortable, not grand, just right.

This is a great local restaurant close to the centre of town but away from main tourist stops. It was busy outdoors so we sat inside but it lost none of its charm and was as expected from a local German bar restaurant. It...serves typical German fare and on this occasion we had the Scheineschnitzel Jagerart and Steak Berner Art. Service was a bit slow as they seemed very busy but not overly so and it meant that food was freshly cooked to order. It also gave us time to enjoy the atmosphere and beer. Both meals were excellent, although on the large side for us and we didn’t finish them – children’s meal next time!

I had visited the old man on time twice in the last few years. as it was in the summer months, I ate outside, what a wonderful surprise I went with my wife on a cold December night. what a beautiful pub',...character everywhere. in the furniture, windows, tables, decorations and that feeling of social history that has left its fragrance. a place they like to go with a few friends for a rare old evening of nice beer, eat and wonderful social chat. this place really gives it. a wonderful selection of food, in German tradition and beer.
