I've never been disappointed here! Rich, fresh, friendly competent! reservation for security on weekends! My tip is the Labskaus!

if they like fried seafood, this is the right place for them. the ingredients are fresh, but unfortunately most fish is fried. it would be more interesting if the restaurant would offer more grilled fish dishes.

we stopped here after we visited the submarine museum without researching the restaurant / menu in advance, and were surprised to find good food, options for children and vegetarian, a nice atmosphere and a wonderful service. in any case recommended!

I ordered hamburger pannfisch as one of my favorite dishes in hamburg. the fish was kind of panned, soaky and cold. it was served with an aqueous crab salad and a little grated vegetables, which after nothing tasted. I just cost the fish and didn't touch anything. I said to the waiter that the fish is cold and mushy, instead of taking this terrible dish from our bill, they offer us a dessert. of a restaurant that stands at the top of the tripadvisor rankings, I expected more.

welcome, we had no booking, but were brought here by German friends. the waiter who served us had a great sense of humor (both English and German) and was happy to discuss the menu. three of us chose the maischollen (one with garnel, one with butter, one with speck) and one for the pagan matjesteller. we all enjoyed eating, although I felt that my scoundrel was cooked a little too long. it was great to have the choice how sprudeling my water was, the others in camp and aperol splashers. it was not a busy evening, but the waiter created a good atmosphere. I wouldn't say that eating was excellent, but it was definitely very good.

After a visit to the Hamburger Fischmarkt we went to the well-known Alt Helgoländer Fischerstube .A very nice restaurant with outdoor terrace. The place was very well visited, but we got two more places. It took a while until the upper came, time enough to look around a little. The restaurant is maritim decorated, lots of glass and wood and pretty lamps. Beautiful showcases in which small sailing ships and beacons are exhibited. The upper was very friendly (although the shop was full). We ordered: Fried Pangasius-Filet Cordon bleu filled with cheese and smoked salmon on tomato sauce, broccoli and potato skating.
