The restaurant offers great value for money with generous portion sizes of home-cooked food. The service was excellent with attentive staff, and I will definitely be returning. Thank you, Alpine, for a wonderful lunch.

We enjoyed three delicious meals at this restaurant, including a panini and ham and eggs. Everything was fresh, tasty, and reasonably priced compared to other options. The service was friendly as well. We would definitely dine here again.

Had a very average basic breakfast here,sat outside, uncomfortable because the chairs are too low for the tables.The staff were not particularly friendly just polite really. Good point was plenty of tea. Definitely not going back because of the seating. Voir le carte

Nice little find amongst all the bustling streets. Staff were very friendly and polite, they came and asked if everything was ok with the meal, to which we said it was. The menu choices were pretty good, and the food was great. Will definitely come back!

Popped in with my family for lunch, we weren't disappointed. Food was lovely, generous portions. Staff were attentive without being too much. Nice and clean throughout. 2 adult meals, kids meal and 3 drinks for well under £30. Will definitely return when next in the area.

Clean and well decorated. Friendly welcoming staff. Nothing too much trouble. Service excellent. Food portions ample and what we didn’t manage to eat in we were able to have wrapped up and take away. Tea came in tea pot and extra jug of water. Would definitely recommend to everyone Voir le carte

The staff at this restaurant were fantastic, very welcoming, especially towards our 3-year-old. They brought a selection of books for him, along with smaller-sized cutlery, and interacted with him as well. The food was accompanied by a fresh side salad and the portion sizes were very generous.

Excellent little food stop, the food was spot on and great value for money compared to the rest of the restaurants and cafes in Windermere. We actually took a full chicken/bacon baguette away because the portions were huge, staff were brilliant and we would definitely recommend this place, CREDIT WHERE CREDIT IS DUE

Ordered the feta, olive and tomato salad for my lunch, trying to opt for a healthier option (husband had a panini). The lovely waiter placed it in front of me and I wish I'd have sent it back immediately. It was a plate full of iceberg lettuce with a few strands of red cabbage, topped with feta, olives and sliced tomatoes. Nothing else. My husband's side salad had grated carrot, cucumber, celery, onion and grapes, as well as the iceberg and tomatoes that I had. Considering my meal was a salad, I would have expected more actual salad items than just lettuce. Very disappointed to have paid £9.20 for a plate full of lettuce. Voir le carte
