"My wife, our Miniature Schnauzer Fergus, and I had a lovely lunch at this restaurant on a Saturday afternoon. We all enjoyed the cozy and inviting atmosphere. The menu offered a nice selection of breakfast items, sandwiches, and main dishes. We both tried the Chicken burger, which was delicious, well-prepared, and full of flavor. The drinks menu was also impressive. The service was friendly and attentive. Overall, it was a great value for the quality of food and service. We highly recommend this place."

"Just recently moved to the county and read the reviews about The Three Cottages and you could sit in too so we thought we will have to try this chip shop. Well my partner and I were not disappointed. The fish and chips were hot, fresh and delicious . Mmm … the batter was so light and crispy and the fish fresh and plentiful. My partner had XL plaice and I had haddock. Great portion size. You will not be disappointed. The service was great and our waitress was delightful. Looking forward to our next visit."

"Been to chubby panda many times, but fir the last year, I stopped as the food had down down hill. As now in 2023 thought I give them another chance and this time the food was good. A big improvement from last year. Only thing now is prices have gone up like every where. Average meal for 2 people with soft drinks came to £75. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £70–80 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3"

"Went in with my daughter tonight , older lady waitress very friendly and welcoming , unfortunately that's were good review stops . My daughter ordered hallomi burger I ordered chicken ceaser salad with Anchovies advacdo, egg, bread and buttered potatoes well firstly in my book a ceaser salad is served with parmasan cheese on top nope none of that and there was none of that nor was there any Anchovies egg or bread so I basically paid for a bowl.of leaves bit of dressing 2 tiny pieces of chicken and a few croutons, my daughter hallomi burger was clap cols when it was served ,and fries were very overcooked, I'm not one for confrontation, so didn't say anything , but sorry this is far from the high quality restaurant we were promised when the olive tree was taken over , we didn't have an dessert as felt we had spent enough on a very low quality meal"

"Stayed here on a Saturday night whilst scouting possible new places to live. Good location, nice room, lovely grounds but a really strange set up. Hotel is not manned due to a lack of staff (their words not mine) so you pick your keys up from the reception desk and let yourself in. Hotel appears to be unlocked all the time which surely is a security issue. Hotel doesn 't currently open its bar or restaurant due to the aforementioned staffing issues which is a shame as the bar is quite nice, breakfast being served there in the morning. Breakfast was good, plenty of choice, both hot cold although my wife wasn 't keen on the large pigs in blankets . Field mushrooms were fabulous. Overall a decent stay was had but this place has the potential to be much better. Would benefit from better soundproofing between rooms, less light pollution from curtains and better water flow in the sink."
