"Beware of the descriptions! The service was good (although they don’t take reservations which is horrid if you are driving there especially). The atmosphere is very nice too. The problem is the descriptions of the food are inadequate. We ordered a starter of asparagus with Parma ham and bearnaise sauce as I eat gluten free, and it comes served on a bread under the sauce not great for any celiacs or gluten free eaters! Then came the main course, fillet steak chunks in truffle sauce. I asked the waitress what the sauce was and she said it was cream. When it came out it had been gratinated in blue cheese! I hate blue cheese and would have never ordered it if I’d known. I know many people who don’t like blue cheese and think that is a very specific ingredient to be adding to dishes without including it in the description. to be fair, when I saw the waitress again I mentioned it and she did offer to change it but I had eaten half of it by then by scraping of the sauce and cheese off the meat, and also not wanting to have to wait for another one to be cooked while my friends eat their meals and then have to wait for me, but when you are paying 15€ plus for the dish, it does leave a very bad taste in your mouth in more ways than one! Such a shame and could be so easily avoided with adequate descriptions or could have been mentioned by the waitress when I specifically asked her what was in the sauce."

We booked previously, it's a very large place but it was full. from my point of view little separation between tables. we ordered pizza and pasta, it was all good.

Your BOUILLABAISSE did not come with all the trimmings and does not come close to what it should be, it is a thick tomato fish, shell and 2 prawn stew. Quite an insult for what it should be.

Found this restaurant by chance and have been here twice so far this trip. The food has been really great! Service was excellent and a nice atmosphere and seating outside. Will go again tomorrow night.

I have been eating a lot of pizza from adio mare during the visits in Gran Canaria. Now last February I tried the new location (at least for me) in San Fernando. Pizza was as good as always! Restaurant looked nice and food is good! Can’t wait to visit again when I visit GC!

Delightful Italian restaurant beautiful ambiance the food was devine we had caprice salad and garlic bread stater with lasagna main with a bottle of house red that was so nice to drink followed by coffee. So pleased we found it definitely going again because the pizza looked lush. And maybe more more than twice because we'd like to try the steak there too. It'd be rude not to, as we're here for another 2 weeks

I have been eating here already five or six times since I live in GC. Absolutely amazing, everything. The food is everytime perfect, as well as the service, with waiters always friendly and very polite. The prices are very low compared to the high quality proposed by the restaurant, with a variety of meat that would satisfied whoever. A big sugestion is the tagliata and the coulant as a dessert. We will come back again for sure, with no doubts the best place we have been eating so far in GC.

"During our winter stay on the island of Gran Canaria we stayed four times in the bar restaurant Casa Antonio, located in Santa Lucia de Tirajana. In the village there are three other restaurants but, we always opted for Casa Antonio because it is the safest as unlike the others it has a good level of hygiene. The structure of the restaurant is characteristic as it is obtained from an old Canarian house. The interiors are decorated in a traditional but elegant way, the bathrooms are quite large and above all clean. It has a small terrace that unfortunately is not very enjoyable because it faces directly on the road and cars pass too close at high speed. The menu is rather trivial, you eat the same things you can eat in any other traditional restaurant on the island. The quality of the elements is certainly not excellent, the wine list is a bit poor with not exactly cheap prices. The Service, considering that all four times we have been to Casa Antonio the restaurant was half empty, was entrusted to a boy of about 40 years, kind but not overly nice and uncommunicative, his presence does not contribute to creating a relaxing atmosphere. In my opinion, given that the place is almost always empty and tendentially sad, it would be appropriate for the service to be entrusted to a more cheerful, dynamic, engaging person, probably a female figure would be more appropriate. Practically once the meal has been eaten, all that remains is to remain seated at the table in silence. It 's a real pity because the place is suitable for continuing the evening by drinking some spirits, for example, listening to good music and perhaps socializing with the other customers who are missing in this case. I rate the experience in Casa Antonio with two stars because, despite being the best restaurant in the town of Santa Lucia, it offers an extremely boring atmosphere."
