The restaurant was very disappointing. The lunch service was slow, and the food was not worth the wait. The meatballs were dry and the fish was tasteless. The overall quality of the food was extremely poor. It seems like the restaurant has significantly declined in quality. The prices were expensive for the low-quality fare.

My family enjoyed a fantastic dinner at 108 last night. The children loved the delicious fish and chips from the adult menu. We also ordered the garden salad and curry special, which were flavorful and tasty. 108 has a great playroom for kids, allowing us to relax and have drinks after dinner. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The staff at this restaurant are friendly and helpful, providing a comfortable dining experience. There are plenty of staff members available to serve customers, making for a pleasant meal. Birthday lunch . Service ok to start, food not the best . Easter Monday, but not that busy. So couldn’t understand the lack of service. Waited 30 minutes after being given dessert menu for an order to be taken. Apologies from waitress for our wait not charged for dessert . Won’t be back. Prompt efficient service is a must as well as good food. Staff lacked direction.

Very disappointed with our visit. Sat us at the window, was so cold, got moved. Ordered food, came back no steak pie! The restaurant wasn't even busy! Ordered fish, my husband ordered haddock mornay £14.50 each. My fish was greasy and my husband's mornay was half a bit haddock! He often orders this when he's out, first time to have been served half a fish! Won't be back.

Awful! Absolutely awful! Menu is minimal and not even a beef burger on the lunch menu. Worst birthday lunch ever ! No apology for waiting over an hour for a mere sandwich. System failure was the only explanation. No discount offered! Will not be back. I did wonder why it was so quiet. Now we know. Pleasant atmosphere, lovely, helpful staff, Pedro? went the extra mile, especially since it was a special occasion. We were a family of 6, steakpie and the fish and chips were delicious. The veggie burger and the steak and onion sandwich were however very disappointing, both were unfortunately tasteless and lacking. The restaurant was quite busy for a Thursday afternoon which is promising, so we might just have been unlucky. I personally wouldn't return.

I booked the hillcroft for a funeral tea for my daughter which was very disappointing, the food was terrible ! Sandwiches too thick and hard , scones were not very Fresh and although they were meant to come with cream there wasn’t any .people me at the funeral commented on the food not being great and a lot of it was left there also didn’t seem to be anyone in charge with everything! The one positive was it was a lovely setting. I paid a lot of money for the occasion not worth what we got.

We visited the hilcroft for my birthday and were looking forward to it but after ordering we waited from 12:30 13:30 before we were served our food. The waitress came to explain the machine never passed the order to the kitchen but there was no apology and when my mother expressed her dissatisfaction with the waitress she laughed it off which I thought was very unprofessional. We were never approached and asked if we wanted another drink after slowly slirping away at our drinks for an hour. Absolutely horrible service, nothing was taken off the bill as an apology and definetely NO TIP deserved. We were frequent visitors here and I can say we won't be coming again, such a let down and on my b... Voir le carte
